The quality of your videos are better than some of the LARGE RUclips channels. I feel that some of then don't even deserve such huge followings😂. Nevertheless, being consistent and putting in that work will get you there one day! Keep it 💯!!
Thank you, seriously! I made this channel because I was frustrated with the quality of diesel truck youtube channels so that means a lot! My goal here is to make good stuff!
This a great illustration of how to properly wash a vehicle. Looking to purchase a new truck and will never use a car wash again. Keep up the good work. The two-bucket technique makes a lot of sense.
Your videos are amazing man. Very high quality... I would bargain even better than a car company channel/tv show. Keep up the great work, you’ve gained a subscriber and a fan!
Don’t forget to check the description for links to all the stuff used in this and to my other detailing videos! 👍 Oh yeah, and feel free to follow me on Insta: instagram.com/avvblanc?igshid=bsqxz0y66tpf
Great video quality and content! Do you think you will eventually get a different wheel and tire setup for the first gen or is it staying the way it is?
Yeah 100% that truck is getting wheels! The plan is some Alcoa style 19.5s, but I may do 20s so I can run a slightly softer tire and get a better ride. Either way it will be a classic revolver style wheel!
Adam’s makes a bug and tar cleaner that’s like cheating. Just spray it on during the pre-soak before you wash and they’re gone. Then I’ll hit whatever is really baked on with a clay bar. 👍
I’m wondering what u do to clean all your detailing rags. Clean them by hand? Throw them in the wash? Idk if I’d throw my washer tho since they’re filled with chemicals
I wash them in the washer, but only with other microfiber towels. You never want to mix them with cotton or anything else. For detergent, I use the Adam's Microfiber revitalizer and it works wonders! None of these detailing chemicals are harmful, so it isn't a big deal!
😂 Oh, _that's_ what I'm doing wrong; I haven't found the car wash staffed with pretty ladies 😂😂 Brother, my 2nd gen is practically "patina" by now; the only things I wash are my Moto Metals and bird crap 😋
Does this method and soap choice work well for urethane epoxy bed liner coatings? I’ve got a half and half paint job with the lower half being monstaliner and the upper half being factory paint.
I can never understand why people use 2 buckets and grit guards to wash a vehicle when no buckets are required if you have an outside tap and a hose. A safer method to wash a vehicle is to fill a spray bottle with a with water and car shampoo solution (10:1 ratio) and spray that solution onto the wash mitt and the vehicle. Then when the wash mitt needs rinsing to get rid of the grime, use the hose and rinse the wash mitt. That is the key thing you will be rinsing the mitt with clean water as opposed to dunking it in a bucket. Whilst grit guards will help to stop the grit going back into into the wash mitt they won't 100% prevent it. You will be quicker, use less soap and water and also have less chance of marring the clear coat. Still enjoyed the video.
I’ve tried both, and I actually find that I get more grit off the mitt by submerging it than by spraying if off with the hose! Like I said though if my truck is legit dirty, all that mud is getting taken off with a pressure wash and foam cannon and not my mitt!
This is probably the best diesel truck channel out there keep it up man 👍
THANK YOU!

And good stuff is exactly what you are producing my friend! I'm watching the videos all the way from Belize in the Caribbean!
Absolutely better. Top shelf videos .

You’re the type of guy I would want to buy a used car from
I don’t know what you do for a living but I would guess accountant or engineer. Best looking trucks around!
Sounds like you’ve watched an Ammo NYC video or two, great video!

She’s washing his truck in the Sun👊🏼
Great video 👍
I love great value apple dish soap
Another awesome vid! How do you tackle bugs?

I never hand wash a vehicle before my first time getting ideas

And don’t use fabric softener. That affects how microfiber absorbs water
YES!!! YES!!!!…. 0:25 aww!!!

Haha hey you can still take care of whatever paint you have left!
Nice video man! This is definitely the best way to do a truck wash. Going to use some of these on my 900whp Camaro for sure!
Damn 900 horse? Sounds like a beast!
More power recipes and combos please

Yep! For the bed liner section though you might want to use a wheel cleaning brush for a little more scrubbing power.
What's a good way to safely remove bug guts without harming the paint.
Do a garage tour
There not much to see! Just a dirt floor barn with some trucks and bikes in it haha.
What mufflers are on the truck in the video
I think you own stock in Adams
I should at this point...
1% sure I clicked on this cuz I wanted to know if I was washing my truck correctly
I still don’t know
Nice
I use my hand to wash my truck. Is that bad?
Does it have mit on it?
hello
Should I wash my truck with dishwasher soap or should I get carwash soap.
Car wash soap absolutely. Dish soap will pull oils out of your paint job . In my opinion.
Does Adam's make the girl washing your truck?? Lol
I wish 😂
discount code is invalid
Why 2 mitts?
One for the top of the vehicle, and one for the lower areas that are dirtier.
Good for show trucks but not a true off-road rig, the paint is going to get pin striped on narrow trails, no way around it
Why would you do wheels first when all the grime falls on it lol. Sounds like your the 9/10 you were talking about lol
Never get soap in your mouth while washing your truck truss me that's gross
