Was a huge Flashwolves fan as they were always exciting to watch at Worlds so it was sad to see them decline over the years. Karsa is such a good player so I hoped he would find a Worlds trophy. They really made me tear up with that promo. You could tell that he was hurting that he had to go against his bro SwordArt. Both having their dreams on the line. For whatever reason NA teams tried to emulate TSMs playstyle and approach to team building rather than C9s for years because TSM was successful domestically. This seriously held back NAs development as a region. As a C9 fan let me tell you nothing is better than going to worlds, making it out of groups, and then going to semis. Winning spring/summer split is really overrated imo. I see it the same way I see college basketball. Where regional championships are like conference tournament wins, and worlds is March madness. Winning the former is cool and all, but everyone knows that the latter is the REAL tournament.

Top has looked shakey this entire Worlds run compared to when they were in the LPL. Suning has looked good, but they've looked human. Damwon gives old-school Korean vibes in that they have mechanically superior players who play calm, collected, and together as a team. They've prepared & executed on plays better than any other team at Worlds yet. It's up to Suning to disrupt the Damwon machine, and look how bad G2 was made to look when they tried to do that. I didn't see a world where sn could beat tes either, considering their history in the lpl, but sn managed to win. And to be fair, Nuguri had shaky games playing carry top. His fiora games against g2 for example.

He's always getting dove and camped but he's still more impactful than enemy toplaner playing weakside. But I don't think the skill gap between Bin and Nuguri is that high. The only advantage Nuguri has is his international tournaments experience. He's been here before and he knows how to handle pressure. SN has only faced LPL teams in the bo5s so far. I hope they can handle the pressure well when paired up against a powerhouse like damwon in a bo5 where the stakes are much higher.

SN wanted to win and they showed a winning card way early, that could have helped them to win the final. I guess you were supporting TL, TL can only blame themselves, if they beat G2 a 2nd time, TL qualified over them. Besides, G2 was still trying to find opportunites when they were behind in that one, after that in the tiebreaker, they had a close match, but, as expected in a fast paced match, the team with better mechanics ends up winning.
