He is the only one who can take down sion from midgame on and is hoping rekkless and selfmade can handle the rest. The true damage is good but its flat dmg and needs 2-3 spells to trigger it so he just needs percent pen so his regular abilities can wear sion down. I think he probably would have gone deathcrown in most other instances.

@@StolenKiss Why would he build mortal there is no healing on the enemy team with a couple tiny exceptions like mantra w on karma and potentially ttiumph. A good amount of people on the enemy team has armor though from the aegis building into a deaths dance on lee sin iceborne gauntlet on ezreal and just the natural armor people get as the game peogresses. Jhin's biggest weakness is the fact that he only has four shots and then has to reload so he has to buy pen to maximize the effectiveness of each shot.
@@StolenKiss athenes only affects karma shield which mortal does nothing against and the deaths dance main purpose is there so that ezreal doesnt get bursted down through tankiness as it gives armor/magic resist and the bleed passive. More armor pen would do better over turning 10% life steal to 5% lifesteal
I don't know which champions he usually plays, but, based on what I watched on Burn It All Down anthem video, Jhin must be one of his comfort picks, something that's done when you're near to close a series and that's why he picked it.

@@Justin-tr2bs True didn't think about ap top/mid + ap jungle. I think they had a pretty good chance in that 3rd game, only because they had momentum and a lot of confidence. Maybe heca would have been the better pick or even eve + ad mid like maybe irelia or even tristana. Velkoz, not a good pick for Nemesis i guess.
