the growl triggers on every 10th minute and the fire comes exactly 30 seconds after
Every 10th minute? Was just there. No one could tell us when it would go off. We didn't get to see it.
Robert Thomas when I was there in March it was like that and apparently since it was opened
@@rdot980 probably ran out of fuel. I went last month. On my last day, it spit fire twice and stopped for the rest of the afternoon.
@largol33t1 it also depends on the weather, if it is windy or downpouring.
The heat from that is intense and its about every 20 minutes it goes off .,....
I always wished this thing was a full on animatronic. It’s still kinda cool but it would be cooler if it felt alive and more part of the world

I remember going here years ago and the Harry Potter aspect was still very new, I still remember that feeling I felt when I saw that dragon for the first time.
Only problem was, we all kept forgetting it did that so we jumped everytime 😂

Every year that we go here, we bring my little cousin, she is obsessed with Harry Potter. She's been watching the movies since she was 4, so for 3 years now, we pass by there in hope to see the dragon breathe fire

What a waste of probably $40-50,000for a statue like make it blink or roll the dragon forwards and backwards so it’s not just there and every hour randomly blows fire
