And what made it even even more worse is that we were seated in the back where we are tilted the most.

I had never ridden this ride before or knew it existed…Then WOW! 🙂 I did NOT expect it to be so good! It was so breath-taking and incredible 🙂 I couldn’t believe it! It immediately became my favorite ride at the park
It's bizarre that when I see vids of crowds and lines now at an entertainment place all I can think of is COVID and how crazy it is that no one there had a pandemic on their mind
We used to have a maintenance worker that would ride the railing of the main drop platform with no safety equipment and he would do handstands as the platform lifted up.
i felt it in my stomach in the back ! there are 2 carts attached to eachother and the one in the front is so easy but the one in the back is a bit gut wrenching !
In a sense the queue here seems more impressive than the actual ride. The ride is great, but from my perspective it seems like they over-rely on screens. I'm sure it looks and feels more immersive when you're actually there. I like how Rise of the Resistance limits screen usage to where it's necessary to convey scale or do effects on a well-themed environment. Overall this is a great attraction, though. Lots of fun effects and set pieces and highly immersive with an attention to detail.

Yeah I could not. When I went to universal for the first time I went during an off month like April and the longest I waited was at the castle which was like 30mins maybe. There were no lines
Honestly, I waited about 2 hours for Hagrid’s ride, but it was worth it to me. For this ride though, when I got on it it was near closing time at the park (probably like an hour before it closed), so I only waited about 25 minutes.
I rode this during the 2018 Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. I had the speed pass, longest wait for any attraction or haunted house was 10 min max. Totally worth the extra money I paid for that. Instead of standing for hours. The Harry Potter area was epic at night. But it was 85F and 90% humidity and like a fool I wore a thick tshirt and jeans. lol But it was awesome.
I've been on screen rides but honestly they're very underwhelming for me... I don't like this new trend, this attraction could've had way more potential.. Screens give me motion sickness and just doesn't have the same magic for me as physical rides...
I actually agree with you alot, but this ride in particular does it as best as it could to be honest, and I have no problem with it on this ride, I give it a 10/10, it has some mild coaster parts, so not your typical just screen ride, you actually move on this ride
I remember not wanting to get on this ride because people were saying it had drops and it was dark but for some reason, everyone was acting unsure of if the ride had drops or not because they wanted me to get on so bad. I remember asking a person who worked there (who had control over the ride) and he promised me it was just like a movie no drops at all and all my fear left my body but as soon as I felt the ride tilting about to drop I literally passed out but I loved the ride I was kinda happy I everyone lied to me LMAO.
Omg same here! I went last year for a gymnastics competition and after I went here didn’t even know the ride was in there I didn’t even think about it and now I’m like! Bruhhhhh
this ride is awesome. As someone who hates rollercoasters this one I would go on again and again. I would have regretted it if I backed out. Best ride in universal studios. This ride is so secure and if ur in the front of the first cart the drop at the beginning feels like nothing.
Great ride went on it in August of 2019 on my trip to Orlando , really great experience, makes you feel like you are in the gringotts scenes during deathly hallows part 2 which is what the ride story is set during the events of that film , Great pre show also definitely have to ride next time I’m in Orlando
I always found it weird that you 'go down' in a lift, and then go up stairs. Why not just take the lift to the desired floor. Disclaimer: I'm aware the stairs are because of the layout of the coaster, but just from a logical perspective, it's weird.
after years of saving... i was able to fly to orlando and man... it did not disapoint. universal Parks are something to experience once in.a liftime at least.
The first time I ever went there, I went to go on the ride and it broke down while we were in line, and had to be walked out, we came back later than day, and broke down as we sat down. Never got to ride it and was super bummed
I would be so scared during this. X,D Not just for the drop on the ride but like... If I could really be the Ravenclaw I am... Like if Hogwarts and all was real... I'd constantly be poor because I'd be too scared to face a Goblin to ask for access to my bank vault. X,D
I think the only part that scared me was the snake😂we went right after it opened from the corona virus for free it was awesome we rode every ride and the waits for all only went up to 10 minutes!
i went on this coaster for my birthday once. i’m terrified of coasters but did it anyway. overall i regretted it at the time, but now i don’t think it was that bad :)
whenever you feel yourself tilt forward at the beginning of the ride me and my dad yelled “LETS DROP THIS BITCH” and all the little kids and their parents were like “excuse me-“ it was amazing
This would have been even better if Charlie was in it too! Bill, Gringots, Charlie and Dragons!!! 🔥🔥 Still looks awesome with just bill - and I'm kinda glad it's not about the trio, yeah they are the main charecters but they are in everything and there are so many awesome charecters in the books and films that they can do so much with!
I know I’m a true fan. I’ve read every book J.K. Rowling has made, and when I was here, I was screaming at every ride except this one. When it started to get bad on the other ones I was screaming but on this one I was like “welp here we go”
Haha, I remember my first and only time on this ride! I wear glasses to see, so I had to wear the 3D glasses OVER my own glasses. I was in the very verrrry back seat with my friend. I think this happened right before a drop or something: My friend put his arms up, but accidentally knocked my 3D glasses off. We heard them fall. And... as the roller coaster moved, we heard a very distinct "crunch" below. We looked at each other, shocked, basically having an "Oh shit" moment. We both probably thought "Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh... What if the ride breaks because of that?" Everything went fine, so looking back on that small moment was hilarious! (And of course I told the staff about the glasses. They said it was okay.)
Harry potter is so nostalgic for me when I saw the last movie I cried when I saw it because it made me realize that my childhood is over and that chapter has ended
I have never been able to go to the parks, watch these videos make me very happy, because even if it is not in person I can live a little bit of the experience. I hope one day to go. Too bad the lines are so long
I haven't been on this ride for so long because it's been a long time since I've been to universal studios Is this ride similar to Revenge of the Mummy?

And what made it even even more worse is that we were seated in the back where we are tilted the most.
I actually think that happened to me too once
I still haven't had a chance to visit Studio Universal Orlando and the song at the end made me cry!
This looks awesome!! One thing I hate about all amusement parks though, you wait in line an hour or two or longer for a ride that last 4 minutes.
Longer rides longer wait times
Not if you pay more.
I refuse to do it anymore. Just came back from spring break. My daughter has gone twice Disney and universal. My duty is done. They get no more of my money or time.
Funny how it looks like the modern banking system and the people involved.
I remember stumbling into this ride completely on accident, I had NO idea what it was about and was even about to skip it but my mom wanted to rest so in the meantime me and my dad decided to check it out just to kill time, best decision ever.
hehe true
Why do people clap lol
Ju
I'm probably just being sociopathic, but I find it so funny when people clap at the end of rides. Like who are you clapping for?
You clap to show your enjoyment to the ones in line, that you appreciated the ride and the creators. Must be hard to understand for someone who‘s into ASMR. fcking simp
@@j.w.213 I hope you hear clapping at the next ride you go to and fucking hate the ride.
@@indieeasmr7101 imagine having to like your own comment cause no one else will
The people working there, the people that built the ride, made the effects, acted, did the filming....!
Sure only the people working there at the time will hear and see you but....!
They’re clapping because they had fun and are impressed with the experience they had
This is nothingggg like irl. It’s so much more exciting and frightening. Feeling the swinging and the cold air as you quickly move.
I rode this with my kid two days ago. She was talking so much crap about me being scared at the other rollercoasters. Yet she cursed at the first drop. I WAS cool calm and collected. This ride made her heartbeat out of her chest. I laughed so hard at her. I can't wait to ride this again.
please answer!! i was wondering if the drop is not really real or does the seat actually drop??
@@IlyasD4nces the drop is a quick drop, not very far. But comes out of nowhere. My preteen who likes rollercoasters, this made her grab onto me. But she laughed her way out of the ride. So overall it was a good experience. I'm afraid of rollercoasters but this didn't make me scared, it made me laugh. I hope this helps. Also I wasn't aware this was a coaster, until I got in the ride and it was too late. But overall it's worth it
@@IlyasD4nces just rode on it today and the drop really hits you out of no where and you go straight down it’s pretty intense but doable!
@@IlyasD4nces the seat drops a little but it *feels* like a large drop
@@bluegoth Okay thank you!! but is it just the screen that drops and makes it feel real, or is it actually on track? thanks for replying because i really want to go on this ride but im not sure if ill like it lol
So I just walked into the park for the last 3-4 hours to mainly experience Halloween Horror Nights.
Because we don't give a shit about covid anymore

I remember working this attraction in 2014-2015. Great ride and even better job.
That’s awesome! Any cool secrets or Easter eggs / fun stories?
Theme Park Shark If I can remember any I’ll let you know. It’s been a while.
@@daviddebergh254 please do
We used to have a maintenance worker that would ride the railing of the main drop platform with no safety equipment and he would do handstands as the platform lifted up.
@@daviddebergh254 ooo nicee!
There's only 1 drop, in the beginning, that's short and fast so its fun and good for those who don't like roller coasters:))
I scrolled to find a comment about the drop thank you for this 💗 i hate drops but love harry potter movies
@@angelag3191 it’s so worth it! Very quick and short, won’t feel it in your stomach!
I took your word for it , it was not scary at all !! Thank you Bree 💖
@@angelag3191 Im so glad!!!
i felt it in my stomach in the back ! there are 2 carts attached to eachother and the one in the front is so easy but the one in the back is a bit gut wrenching !
Ride starts at 5:24
Ty
Thanks Christ
And the drop?
For me The drop feels like your getting punched in the stomach that’s why I only went on this once
Yes it does rely on the screens a lot, but it's mostly a rollercoaster experience.

I love this ride of course but I can’t believe how long some people will wait for it like some people have the patience for a 5 hour wait
I waited over an hour to ride Smuggler's Run at Disneyland, and didn't enjoy it...I can not imagine waiting five hours for a ride.
Thank God they make these videos 😁
Yeah I could not. When I went to universal for the first time I went during an off month like April and the longest I waited was at the castle which was like 30mins maybe. There were no lines
Honestly, I waited about 2 hours for Hagrid’s ride, but it was worth it to me. For this ride though, when I got on it it was near closing time at the park (probably like an hour before it closed), so I only waited about 25 minutes.
This ride was fantastic. Truly breathtaking and immersive. I felt so nostalgic when I got off
This was me on the London train stop. It was so nostalgic my goodness
nice vocabulary 😅😅😅
I rode this during the 2018 Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. I had the speed pass, longest wait for any attraction or haunted house was 10 min max. Totally worth the extra money I paid for that. Instead of standing for hours. The Harry Potter area was epic at night. But it was 85F and 90% humidity and like a fool I wore a thick tshirt and jeans. lol But it was awesome.
Love This Ride!!!!
日本と比べ物にならない、、、やはり本場はすごいなあ、、!!!!羨ましいー!行きたい😭👏✨✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've been on screen rides but honestly they're very underwhelming for me... I don't like this new trend, this attraction could've had way more potential.. Screens give me motion sickness and just doesn't have the same magic for me as physical rides...
I actually agree with you alot, but this ride in particular does it as best as it could to be honest, and I have no problem with it on this ride, I give it a 10/10, it has some mild coaster parts, so not your typical just screen ride, you actually move on this ride
Negative nancy
It's still the best screen ride in the florida section of the resort though
I remember not wanting to get on this ride because people were saying it had drops and it was dark but for some reason, everyone was acting unsure of if the ride had drops or not because they wanted me to get on so bad. I remember asking a person who worked there (who had control over the ride) and he promised me it was just like a movie no drops at all and all my fear left my body but as soon as I felt the ride tilting about to drop I literally passed out but I loved the ride I was kinda happy I everyone lied to me LMAO.
Wait ✋ there drops in this ride ?
It was wrong of the Ride Operator to lie like that. This could traumatize someone else who might be very sensitive to drops.
Dear God... this line seems to go on for miles. How long are these people waiting??
I'm a Disney guy but Universal is doing way better job than what Disney is doing with Star Wars and Marvel.
I see that queue and immediately regret that I went the single rider lane :(
Do you get thrown about in single rider lane? I've been on the ride once but it was a full cart, so....
It’s sad I never knew this ride was here
Omg same here! I went last year for a gymnastics competition and after I went here didn’t even know the ride was in there I didn’t even think about it and now I’m like! Bruhhhhh
@@coralbush1793 it’s pretty hidden lol
this ride is awesome. As someone who hates rollercoasters this one I would go on again and again. I would have regretted it if I backed out. Best ride in universal studios. This ride is so secure and if ur in the front of the first cart the drop at the beginning feels like nothing.
I don't mind small ones with no inversions. the only one with inversions I can stand is Rock and roller coaster, its indoors and in the dark.
Great ride went on it in August of 2019 on my trip to Orlando , really great experience, makes you feel like you are in the gringotts scenes during deathly hallows part 2 which is what the ride story is set during the events of that film , Great pre show also definitely have to ride next time I’m in Orlando
4k Processing. Thanks for your patience!
I got a question can u talk to the gringotts? Goblins
Spongebob Squarepants not that I’m aware of
I always found it weird that you 'go down' in a lift, and then go up stairs.
This ride caught me off guard compared to the rest of the Universal rides. My famiily arent big rollar coast fans like me, so this was a treat lol.
one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES! executed so well.
すごい。日本🇯🇵にもできて欲しい。
I would be so scared during this. X,D Not just for the drop on the ride but like... If I could really be the Ravenclaw I am... Like if Hogwarts and all was real... I'd constantly be poor because I'd be too scared to face a Goblin to ask for access to my bank vault. X,D
I think the only part that scared me was the snake😂we went right after it opened from the corona virus for free it was awesome we rode every ride and the waits for all only went up to 10 minutes!
The first time I road this and it was THE big drop, my heart started racing
The drop isn't that big
@@SnagReport I was 11, and didn't like roller coasters. There is also 3D effects to make it seem worse. For me then it was a big drop.
I can't believe they got rid of jaws for this.. but it's still super cool
Post Covid this ride looks like a nightmare
I get what you mean but with a mask I'd still ride it.
Who else is watching this because they were at universal and went on this ride not too long ago?
Since we can't go anywhere, this kind of videos reallu cheered me up, thank you!
It’s like you are our personal tour guide.
That's what we are here for!
i went on this coaster for my birthday once. i’m terrified of coasters but did it anyway. overall i regretted it at the time, but now i don’t think it was that bad :)
whenever you feel yourself tilt forward at the beginning of the ride me and my dad yelled “LETS DROP THIS BITCH” and all the little kids and their parents were like “excuse me-“ it was amazing
you were probably looking for the comment that tells you when the ride actually starts, so I’ll tell ya it starts at 5:25 thank me later :)
Why would you skip the best queue in the park lol
I might be going here for my birthday, and this is what I wanna do first!
Awesome have a great birthday!
I was there in february and enjoyed like a kid, its really awesome, great experience ever
I guess Goblins are the only one who are still safe from corona virus 😂😂
Legend says that the guy is still clappin til this day
This would have been even better if Charlie was in it too!
Bill, Gringots, Charlie and Dragons!!! 🔥🔥
Still looks awesome with just bill - and I'm kinda glad it's not about the trio, yeah they are the main charecters but they are in everything and there are so many awesome charecters in the books and films that they can do so much with!
What if the ride breaks because of that?"
Everything went fine, so looking back on that small moment was hilarious! (And of course I told the staff about the glasses. They said it was okay.)
This ride was a huge disappointment. The other Harry Potter ride is way better.
Try it again. It ages nicely
Personally as good as the Forbidden Journey was I like this better, love that first drop!
The Silent Musician back row though!! 😭
Theme Park Shark I’m sure you know this but just in case, if you sit in the 6th row and look at Bellatrix she waves at you as you’re dropping😂
Too bad the lines are so long
I haven't been on this ride for so long because it's been a long time since I've been to
universal studios
Is this ride similar to Revenge of the Mummy?
