This is the next bike I want. None of the dealerships near me have it in stock. ended up placing a deposit on one a month ago to reserve one. Everyone who has one seems to be very pleased with it.
Hi, I have NC 750 2021 as well and I can recommend you original heated grips. I purchased recently installed in Honda, spent 500Eur incl installation but it is great. Heating is connected to ECU so you can see current settings and icon on the main bike display. Better than some Oford.... Another tips- central stand. Good for chain maintenence. Last but the best tip- Oxford Cruise. It is small plastic thing to help right hand to be relaxed in long trips. Very good thing trust me! :D
It is good reliable bike. I have manual version upgraded with panniers and cell phone charger and additional 12 V socket e.g. for compressor. It rides great. Only problem I have noticed is struggling over 130 km/h. Below that speed it is fuel efficient all around bike.
Nice set up. I think I have the same hand guards! I put Palmer brackets on for my screen and it seems a lot better I went down the Shad route for my cases. The mounts are much cleaner than the Givi so they do not spoil the lines when the cases are not on. I use an Airhawk saddle for comfort, Denali fog lights mounted under the front chin. I find the bike is annoyingly good as it means there is no point in looking for a replacement. Regularly tour on it and get 70+ miles to the UK gallon. One big thing I did was change the front springs for Hyperpro ones. Still takes my teeth out on bumpy roads but the handling is so planted now - tracks tight curves like a race bike! I might replace the rear shock at some point for something more adjustable though.
If you are not a manual clutch type guy but you love the touring design and concept then NC750X is the most fitted motorcycle for those people that can't drive a manual touring bike and guess what That's me!!! my dream touring bike how I wish I could have. my only dream bike that fits on me.
Velcro ftw haha thanks for the tank bag tips man! I keep looking at tank bags that are so proud of their "magnet mount" technology :-/ Now to find a cupholder that'll hold my Starbucks securely without spilling ...
My name is GiGi from Martinique, I just bought thé blue NC750 x cdt 2022. With the same top case. But did not yet raid, for some reasons. Anyway thanks you for your help. That vidéo shows good tips. Well done.
Your bike looks great and sounds like you are very happy with it. That's what matters! I have added SW-Motech Ion footpegs to my 2022 NC DCT. They are just a bit lower, but provide a much more stable footing. I have a Tail Bag instead of a tank bag. I want easy access to my frunk so didn't try to mount there. I only use it when I do not have my Shad topcase on and just strap it on the rack. I also added Oxford Heated Grips but you may not need those. Based on your bike, I want to go look at the Heed crash bars and the Seat Concepts seat. Have a need for both but can't find exactly what I want. Keep the videos coming...
hi mate, only riders will understand! your mods & upgrades are fantastic as i can see you are loving it! awesome videos! my mate too own a NC750 and share his experience too. he told me to get my xadv750 and i am loving the dct!
Great video and love the mods you have done. As a rider in the UK the only thing I would add is heated grips which are fabulous when the weather gets colder. I have the Honda fit tall screen which is good and the radiator protector and front mudguard extension are must have even if you don’t go off road. I also have a rear hugger which protects the underside of the seat and luggage. The lot where you parked looks like a dogging site to me! 🤣
Wow. Bay st louis. Cool. Im from biloxi. Left after katrina. Lost everything. In Ga now. Still have some family down over there. I miss it. Thanks. Ill be watching for views of the coast and all. Haha . I dont have a bike these days but love them and miss them. Want a nice little used honda XR like 250 for carrying a small portable amp and laptop with guitar to write little ambient pieces in remote areas. Filming the areas. Making a video a week. It will be a year or so though. I need to get some other things in order first. Cool man subbing !!!!!!!!!! Honda is my fave. Had 86 spree. 87 elite 80, 89 elite 250. I then had a few light bikes like rebel 250, fun little bike. Interceptor 250 for a couple weeks i was loaned while work was being done. I loved it. Not really powerful but i am super light 120 at 5f 8. Hahahah. Ive driven hurricane 1000 and 650 cbr but getting on highway driving about 80 or so lane changing is not as easy in my weight class. I have felt over 135 mph on the hurricane and never again. Hahahah. Anyway. Great channel. Be well. Hope home is treating you well brother! 🎉
Cracking bike,,I love mine,,,,,,,seat looks good, I’ve lifted mine, and have an air hawk cushion on,which helps a little,,,but I really need to get a replacement seat. I’ve got the big GIVI top box on too, which is super handy....main thing for me tho,is to replace the original tyres, which are shockingly bad,,,I’ll go for Michelin Pilot 5 or 6 as I love those tyres,,, Great vid thanks for posting
Nice I like all your mods. It's your personal choice to make your ride more comfortable. I've done similar to my 2023 nc750x DCT. But I wish I lived where you live with warm weather all year round. I've subscribed to and so will see how you go. Absolutely love the nc750x DCT.
I’m almost convinced to buy nc750x! I follow the same way as you follow.. my target is afrika twin but I’m not so sure it should be my first bigger bike… for now I have Honda varadero 125 xl which is pretty big for 125cc but still 125cc power level. Your way to afrika looks perfect also for me. Best regards!!
Thanks, man, great mods and great video. I'm bringing home my NC750x tomorrow and I'm so excited about making an adventure bike too in future, Your video is very helpful. Ride safe, thanks again.
Great vid, I would love the seat, but looking at their web site, it doesn't list the NC750x 2021 model, so yours the early model or is it for the 2021+ model? Love the tank bag idea, will be doing that to mine
I have this 2018 nc750x with a honda top case. The only other modification is a givi tank bag which straps to the rails on top of frunk. Your bike is beautiful. What year model is it? How is your gas mileage?
Yo i didnt know you ride a motorcycle. I first saw your review of a captain America gaming chair. But this is my dream motorcycle. I used to live in Jacksonville but now im Florida. Nice mods!
Hello nice bike I'm trying to fit the same bar risers as you. Any tips would be great having troubles with the front brake line not having enough slack did you have to get longer on.
Lots of great additions to an already great bike. Couple questions on the Heed Engine Guards. How's the overall quality of the bars and welds? Have you had any drop tests? Hopefully not, but it would be nice to know how the guards performed. I'm strongly considering the HEED Guards since they look decent and the price is much less than other options. Thanks!!!
Excellent tour of your mods to the NC. However, for the life of me, I cannot understand why with the large panniers, massive top box, and the integrated 'fronk', you would need to use a tank bag. Just how much stuff do you need to carry, whatever the trip! 😉
Nice setup! I just ordered the 2023 model and I am excited about it's arrival! Can you tell me , where you purchased the handle bar riser , make and part number would be appreciated. Also, did you have to change any of the cable lengths??
Be careful of the Topbox light kit. As the bike is led lights it might not like the added current load, it might need an automotive relay. The magnetic tank bag might work if you stick metal strips to the underside of the plastic cover, if it's not strong enough, try neo magnets instead. Givi do make top loading bags too, but more expensive though.
I think your mods are great! It's nice that the phone mount softens vibrations. I ended up getting a Quad Lock dampening kit for my current motorcycle, but that seems like it would work well too. I'm considering buying a 2022 NC750X DCT for daily commuting and weekend rides, but before I get one, I have a few questions if you would not mind answering them: 1. Did you notice any drop in the MPG with the GIVI windscreen? I've heard that taller windscreens can affect MPG. My current bike is a BV350 scooter, and one of the aftermarket windscreens drops the MPG by 10- but that windscreen also has handguard extensions built in and is very tall. 2. Is the NC okay for mild off-roading? I have seen other NC owners going offroading, but those are on the older NCs. They lowered the suspension by 1" on the 21+ models, which is my main concern. I would like to take it on fire trails in WA state. I would probably be dealing with some mud and gravel roads, although I would try to avoid less developed paths. 3. Was there enough cable slack for installing the bar risers? Thanks!
why don't you just buy the cb500x instead? it costs slightly less and has way more offroad ability. doesn't come with dct but has the lightest clutch on the market. better mpg than the nc and very likely cheaper insurance. i've tested both of them and i was equally comfortable on both but the cb500x was much more fun to ride. it has a range of 300 miles too. suspension and brakes was well updated last year. there are aftermarket quickshifters for it if you don't like to use the clutch.
@@SvanbergSimon I would consider the CB500, but one major issue is that I have never seen them in stock anywhere. Also, I would do 70/30 highway/city riding, I’m not sure if the CB would get buzzy on the freeways. The biggest reason is that a dealership has a used ‘22 NC in stock, with only 2k miles and all the factory options/navigation. I could trade in my current bike and not have to deal with selling privately.
@@Uhrmacher2 sounds like a good deal. The cb500 however is geared pretty low but you can change the front sprocket for a 16 tooth to improve the way it tackles the highway. There is surely a video about it here on youtube.
@@Uhrmacher2 The New 2022 CB500X has better fueling and no vibrations that was a problem in previous models and the suspension is upgraded with upside down forks and dual disc brakes at front. the seats have been improved also. if you don't need the luggage space CB500 X is really great and is much lighter at 199 kg compared to NC 750 at 224 kg with DCT version. They are both very good bikes and give similar miles per gallon give or take 1-2 mpg difference. If you want to experience automatic bike DCT is a great choice...
the bike looks great. I am just finding out about this bike and you made a lot of great mods. Can you get forward foot pegs for longer rides so you can stretch your legs out? I like everything you had done.
At 12:00 did you have to adjust or redo the wires and all that stuff because of the bar risers, or it has enough space and length to move back like that?
Enjoyed your video here, and that you listed the source for all your mods...I just bought a used 2019 750 dct and want to put on crash bars...yours seem to be foreign...did you have any trouble getting them? Did they fit well? Is the size okay? Any recommendations? Tnx

Nice ride there. We share make and model and agree 100% every ride is a sweet experience. Can I get some advise from you about the cable lenghts when installing the bar risers, how did you manage that. Have safe rides.
Thanks for the detailed review of your NC750 mods. If you have a free moment I'd love to get some more information on your windshield. Did you go with the Sport or Touring version? Do you get any wind buffering on your helmet? I just purchased a 22 NC750. I'm 5-9 and can't decide which windshield (sport or touring) to purchase and avoid any buffering. :)

Wider foot pegs and heated grips for where I live and how I ride. Does the windscreen put your head in clean air or no wind at all?

Μπράβο πολύ ωραίο... Μόλις παραγγειλα το dct 😊
Great walk round
Thank you from KSA.
need modifications of cable if I use the bar raiser?
No, not for just bar risers. It's when people put on much taller bars (usually more of a cruiser thing) that longer cables are often needed.
The bike looks great and well thought out. Thanks for Showing.

I think that bike has more storage than Harley-Davidson electric Glide ultra.
simply good
i think you have great mods and the windscreen you got really goes with the design of the bike but why this over the cb500x? dct and frunk?
DCT
is there a way to get cruise control on one of them?
