this was amazing! you should definitely play some more with GPT to see if he learns and gets better, since that is the strong point of AI: learning. you could maybe do a few matches off-camera to train him and then see if he can beat random marbles. i really like this concept, looking forward to more AI v.s. marbles!
I think ChatGPT was missing three crucial concepts here. Explaining them should help it next game. 1: Don't save money. If you would have not spent all your money, just buy gold coins with the rest. You get your money back with interest next round as opposed to nothing. 2: Which units are good compliments to each other or weak to each other. Snipers hate attackers, and shotgunners mow down melee and are great defense for snipers. 3: Go all in when your health is low. If you won't live another round, there's no point buying any coins.
POV: You no have a friend but you want to play like you have a friend P.s.- The idea turned out to be unexpected, but at the same time fascinating. Judging by the simplicity of the game, you are just starting to try GPT in choosing certain strategies. Most likely, after a while GPT will be used again, but where? That's a different story🌚
That was really fun! I loved the text with the AI :) Awesome video, do more of this type! ❤ Also, this would be a fun little game to play too :) I assume the coin would be OP to scale if you tried spamming them hehe
Thanks, I am glad you liked it! Fun fact: in the earlier stages of development, the gold coin was providing +20 gold instead of +15. I had to nerf it to +15 because the AI was picking up on how overpowered it was and kept just spamming coins and was eventually swimming in gold. :)
The idea was that neither of the players know the units of the other player before the round, but we can experiment with the rules for the next edition.
I was initially planning a nice ChatGPT API integration for my project but ended up just copy-pasting all of the texts back and forth between my interface and ChatGPT and manually buying all of the units for the chat.
That's tricky because then they starts spending much more than the budget and it's almost impossible to persuade them to calm down. :) They are quite bad at math sometimes. :)
This was very interesting to watch, and by the end chat gpt was giving a very good account of itself, i will say that i found it mildly upsetting that the overwhelming majority of base damage either party dealt was via stray shots, though I'm uncertain what could make the system better Either way, great video, it was neat seeing the ai getting better with each round!
Thank you for the comment! To be fair, I am a little bit disappointed with the quality of the video as well. I think this one needs a revisit with more attention to unit balance, simulation quality and other suggestions from the comments. Not sure when I will come around to revisiting this format though because I have other projects in mind at the moment.
Thanks for the correction. :) English is not my first language. I think there are a plenty of other mistakes as well. One mistake that I always make is using 'amount' instead of 'number' for countable nouns. I think I used it incorrectly at least once in this video.
Not the smartest decision. :) As someone in the comments suggested I should have played a few games with chat before filming the video to train him a bit. If I ever made another video like this I will play a bit off camera and he would probably make smarter decisions. :)
random waste shots doing 90% of all damage is kinda meh. turrets range a joke. sniper cannot aim and so weak. sad simulation but the idea with chatgpt was interesting.
You are probably confusing my list of units and his. After he purchased his units I wrote him my units so that he has some context of what he’s fighting vs. His units always have gold calculation in the list.
Interesting concept, very well executed! Also enjoying the consistent improvements to the visual style.
Thanks, I appreciate your feedback!

That is a good idea. If this video gets enough attention I will probably do some off-camera training games with AI.
@@marblesbattle this was so good pls
Do more
ChatGPT is less good at arena battlers than random chance😂
XD
It may be because chat gpt made a point to get at least one of each unit. (Mostly)

@@marblesbattle Good economy will always be an excellent strategy in games like this :)
Capitalism at its finest
This is insane. I haven’t ever seen a marble video being this original. Great idea, great execution.
Wow, thanks!
Great idea
Thank you! 😊
I think if you rematch, you should give him detail of your chosen units first, so he can calculate more correctly
The idea was that neither of the players know the units of the other player before the round, but we can experiment with the rules for the next edition.
@@marblesbattle I can't wait to see it then!
This was an awesome concept! Loved each part of it. Off-camera training for the ai might not be a bad idea, but this was amazing regardless 💯
Thanks. I am really glad you enjoyed it!
how does that work?
I was initially planning a nice ChatGPT API integration for my project but ended up just copy-pasting all of the texts back and forth between my interface and ChatGPT and manually buying all of the units for the chat.
thats cool@@marblesbattle
The AI needs to be told to spend as much of the budget as possible.
That's tricky because then they starts spending much more than the budget and it's almost impossible to persuade them to calm down. :)

I tried to send an e-mail to algodoo to make account. But the e-mail keeps returning. Can you share any solutions?
I am not sure if I can help you. I have never worked with algodoo. I create all of my projects in Unity.
ChatGPT has great sportsmanship. GG ChatGPT!
Kenapa gak banyak video yang ❤😅😅😅
Amazing video
Thanks!
ChatGPT really came close there!
Please do neon wars again😢😢😢
the AI could turn the table if the match was longer, very good video

Chat dose not have emotions
"Despite of" isn't a phrase. You should say either "despite" or "in spite of".
Thanks for the correction. :)

How can I play this game?
Sorry but you can’t. It is a project I made in unity and it is not published anywhere.
ChatGPT?
this video is my favourite
Nice!
Why did chat gpt use gold coins when its base is below 5 hp?
Not the smartest decision. :)

Bro ChatGPT buy 2 turret in round 1 and 2 but why in the video is only one turret?
