Holy shit! At 6:28 my dad had that shift knob on his 98 F150 and growing up I thought it was so cool to press the button to make the eyes glow, and then one day when I was older he bought a new shift knob but the skeleton one meant so much to me from all the memories I had driving with him that I took it and I have it somewhere in my closet right now in a safe box.

Just an idea on how to make the game a little more interesting.
    - Give the three 'contestants' three items at once which could have any number of fakes (from none to all three). They have 90 seconds to look at and discuss the three items as much as they want.
    - At any time a contestant can make final decision on one of the items being real or fake (for fun, have them push a button that turns on a green light for real or red light for fake and they can't change their mind). The item is then 'locked' and can't be picked by the other contestants.
    - They continue until all three items are locked, one item for each contestant with their guess if it's real or fake. If they run out of time they get 0 points for the round.
    - Before the real/fake results are revealed, they each make a guess on the items the other two contestants have.
    - The results are read and points are awarded as follows: 2 pts for guessing your own item correctly, 1 pt for each other item you guessed correctly, and a -1 pt penalty if you guess your own item wrong.
    - For added fun, tally up the costs of the items and you could use it as a tie-breaker if needed. Every time they guessed real/fake correctly it's a positive ("money well spent" or "cash saved"), but every time they guess incorrectly it's a negative ("sucker buckers", or "do you even know cars bro?").
The idea behind this is that if you have a good eye and know what to look for you can lock in the easy item quickly and get more points, but if you locked it in too fast with a bad guess you could get hit with a penalty. On the other hand, if you're too slow you'll get stuck with the last (and presumably most difficult) item to guess, or get a 0 for running out of time. Should be fun, give it a try off camera and see what you think.

@@Sourman1545 Yeah build quality is questionable at best... I've been in a few Teslas, one that was delivered pretty recently and they leave a lot to be desired. Now that there's serious competition from the Germans and the Koreans I can't see why you'd buy one unless it was an emotional decision... The Koreans have the best manufacturing processing in the world, take it from the people who know. My old man was the global director for Stahl Chemicals leather and automotive finishing division and had a lot to do with helping Hyundai set up Genesis. He always said nobody is better at quality control than the Hyundai group, they had never made their own leathers in house and he said they had it absolutely nailed within two years and for an outfit that size that's unbelievable. He reckoned they make the best leather products on the planet now and the fit and finish is every bit as good as the best of the Germans or the British.
Goes to show how much a badge can influence the perception of quality. It take a blindfold to really make a decision using your head over your heart... And cars are very emotional things.

You can even give them a message or call to there website or store info and ask if its there listing and shore up any unknown.

I personally chose Ford and Chevrolet products over every other car companies here in US. Car technology is growing everyday where the manufacturers tend to feed the public with there physical features and material needs while great number of billionaires invest in the company and make generational wealth within a short period through buying of huge stocks

    • @stephaniestella213

On the fake Sparco racing harness, another tell could be that the threaded anchors look like they’re cast and unfinished (meaning there was not a post process conducted, like machining, to improve the condition of the part from the imperfections of the casting process). Cast components tend to have brittle failure modes and are not great when loaded in tension (i.e., the force of the belt against the anchor when the car crashes).

Also, thankfully, it's going to be tough to get onto a racetrack for any event sanctioned by any of the major reputable organizations (FIA, SCCA, NHRA, etc), as they should fail the tech inspection pretty conclusively before the car sets tires on the track.

For the Sparco racing harness, when I saw that it said “Made in usa” with USA all lowercase, that was a red flag. I don’t know if “usa” is used, but everything I remember seeing with that tag is either has “USA” or “U.S.A.” From the tag alone, my guess was it was counterfeit.
