I heard this morning that Raven has or is going out of business. To be out of service and end support by DEC 2023.

Hi Arron, great video and perfect timing as I was looking for another scanner.
did you know Hector Garcia did a review a year or two ago on the raven pro and swears by it, although tech in the US often differs from here in the UK.
Just like you I have the scan snap (ix1500 version) which I love. It still works for me but one of my pain points is the limitation on profiles. having a shared machine with multiple users means that the 30ish limit on profiles gets diluted down pretty fast. Especially when you have profiles for different types of receipts (single sided, double sided, multi-page, and so on).
I would live to get a real deep dive into how your practice uses tech on everyday tasks like general filing, sending letters, and scanning receipts to various departments/staff as well as direct to product. it would go along way to helping accountants understand the challenges of moving clients to digital and how the tech can be used most efficiently. happy to share my thoughts with you on this as always.
Also, what tech do you recommend to clients? and does it form part of your app stack when onboarding?

Thanks! We send files to google drive and choose who has access to complete the work.
Also, in terms of the tech recommendations, our clients mostly use mobile, but it depends on the individual.

FYI for all watching Raven Scann will be going out of business and the cloud will not be supported after December 2023 from what I can tell all upload functions including One Drive google drive One Note and the like had to be connected through the cloud so when the cloud shuts down then it is possible all upload options will go away aswell.
