Hi, I want to start eBay reselling & freelancing, what would I put on the section where they want to know about the job e.g. plumber etc what would I have to put in there? Shall I just put online reseller/seller or put both online reseller/seller & freelancing? I really need to register as I've made over £1000 in sales on eBay & I've stopped selling more because I don't have a clue how & what to do on there. I could've made so many more sales on eBay. I Would appreciate it if you could answer my question or give me any advice, thanks

Thank you for your useful video. Regarding the kitchen orders, by buy a tablet for the kitchen and connect it with the software, would the kitchen orders be able to have a timer? To help the cook to manage their time with the orders. So orders don’t get to the costumer’s table late.

Has anyone found a barcode label printer that actually works with Zettle POS? We have tried Dymo wireless, several other wireless printers, too, and none of them work with Zettle. We have one of the small Star mini printers that Paypal sells, the wireless bluetooth receipt printer, but it uses paper rolls so small that we can't find barcode label rolls that fit it. Does anyone have an answer for this? I manage a music instrument store and would be REALLY handy to be able to label items that don't come with a barcode, which there are still a LOT of in the music industry....

I was working as an Amazon seller and now really want to become a bookkeeper. I have just got the QuickBooks pro advisor certification and am studying Xero and the AAT level 2 at the moment. I am trying to get clients through platforms like Bark, especially smaller clients that only use QuickBooks. I am trying hard to get experience. I was in Birmingham a couple of months ago in the accountant and bookkeeping conference AND I REALLY WANTED TO MEET YOU but I missed you. I live in Nottingham so it was close. great video!! Just started with GC and Quickbooks. Very excited to use it as we used ask our Students to set up Standing Orders and you can imagine how much work that took! Interesting though, as when I set up a recurring invoice it doesnt give me the opportunity to set up the 30th of the month - odd as it offers every other day but the 30th ? Also it would be great if you could ask for differing amounts as the last month can sometimes be slightly higher depending on the total course fees for the year? Thanks

If items were returned after filing of taxes, can you still refund taxes paid?

My understanding previously was if you are just flogging your own old clothes and books etc that wasn’t considered a business but if you are going out picking up items specifically to sell then obviously that’s a business and should be declared. So ppl pay income tax then sales tax when they buy the item and HMRC think they can take tax again when it’s flogged secondhand what a joke.

Hi, I understand that a company can claim back input tax suffered on goods and services in the six months prior to its VAT registration date. To add these transactions and Input VAT to its first VAT Return do I just make a manual adjustment to boxes 4 and 7?
