I'm always still around, just very slow.

I'm really curious about the other versions of this game now, because yeah, turning it into a first person dungeon crawler sort of experience really does look like it vastly improves the immersion of it. And immersion kind of IS horror in most horror games.

Sweet Home on NES is a lot like this just older graphics

I reviewd that one the year prior. A much, MUCH better game than Laplace's Demon imo.

This might be a weird compliment, but your mastery of the English language and the fact that you work very hard on your scripts makes your presentation such that I am always engaged by your content even when I have zero interest in the game you’re covering. Aeons ago, when RUclips was still in its infancy, a few so-called “angry reviewers” could hold my attention in this way by injecting humor into their videos (goofy silly skits and off-color jokes and such, I am sure you remember what I am talking of), but you do it through the sheer force of your linguistic abilities and the depth of your writing.
Side note: I think the question “do we have free will” is a not one that makes sense or is even useful in the context of discussing human behavior and individual responsibility. I am sure some philosopher has pointed this out (they must have, no way am I the first to think of the following analogy), but it’s like asking: do we have freedom of movement? The answer is not only both yes and no, but both are only possible because of the other. It’s because there’s a surface like the floor or dirt or concrete that hinders my movement (I can’t enter the floor) that I can move at all by pushing myself along that surface. Take away the surface, remove all objects that I can use to give myself a push, put me into the vacuum of space and while I can now hypothetically move in any direction, I actually can’t move at all. There’s more to this analogy and to free will than I have the will (haha) to type at the moment, but that’s the short version of how I think about this topic.
Also, great video, as always :)

Wow thank you so much, really a boost of confidence from reading this and making me feel like my time hasnt been wasted. I still plan on streamlining my writing process, but i hope it won't harm the quality.

@@StilesReviews I don't think it will, so long as your passion is still there. After all, the great William Shakesman once wrote "Brevity is the soul of wit."

I'm guessing the auto closed-caption read it as that? lol

@@StilesReviews No, I watched the video before closed-captions were even loaded onto the vid, that's just what I heard. I didn't know 'b-movie' was even a term until I re-watched that scene with the newly added captions, & realised my mistake.

I've had my eye on this, but like you said, it looks pretty bland. Also, for some reason first person battle systems always turn me off. I really don't know why, but they've always bothered me.

Weird, i dont mind first person battles. I prefer seeing my characters unless it is a first person dungeon crawler, but i can live without party members being visible.

Does Sweet Home count as a horror RPG?

Yep! Covered that one the hear before this one.

Bit of a side note, but the way the team of party members moves on the map is oddly mesmerizing. I've seen something similar in the Dragon Quest games or even FF8, but not really in a formation where they will actively stack on each other when they encounter an impassible tile.
