My son passed away 11/08/21. As a 2 year old constant a request at home, in the car or when ever music was available. "Play tiger, play tiger"..... the joys and beauty of a young boy. His first full concert was Richard Clapton, he was devastated, when the music ended. No tiger. I knew what was coming, and to see that same 2 year old rapture reflected in the 5 year old at the encore.
As he grew " tiger " slipped away, new music came and went. "tiger" never complely disappeared, popping up at bbqs, his 18th, 21st
Good Bye Tiger i hope will be played at his funeral.
Chasing those La Dalce Vita times........
    Good bye Tiger
    Vale
Caleb, my son, I love you

You just haven't lived if you haven't seen Richard play live. He's one of our best, God bless him.

The period around The Great Escape with Harvey James was something really special.
I saw them play at the Maroubra Seals as part of the record launch tour,
with my hand on my heart, without a doubt, Harvey was one of the greatest guitarist I've ever had the privilege
      to hear play live.
Exclude the French but 'Fucking Legend'.

Wow check out that amazing head of 1977 hair! Looking good Richard. This song is our “Night Moves”. Sense of nostalgia, loss, and acceptance of passing time. It’s so good you never want it to end, just keep grooving.

australia's pub-rock troubadour of the late 70s came up with some classic aussie standards including this look back to those "dolce vita times".

Such a great band, such a marvellous song, such wonderful times. They are gone and they'll not never come again but hearing "Goodbye Tiger" brings them all back in a glorious rush of excitement and ecstasy.

Couldn't have said it any better David. They were our years, we were young and never thought that they would end but Ralph takes us back for a few minutes at least.

Hello folks. Has this got any connection to Goodbye Tiger productions ? Producers of that new Stan/9 series Scrublands. Just gonna watch a bit before the cricket. He likes a drink and writes beautiful songs. Girls on the avenue to name a few. Tips well to.

0.50 to 1.00...Air Supply have taken this riff..😁 Sorry just had to. Listen to the bridge in "Lost in Love" and you'll hear Claptons riff.👍
