This video is of me getting clamped in a place that I have parked for nearly 12 years with no issue until now. My son is in the back of the car crying as this is going on. I am simply trying to get me and my family safely home. In this day and age should private clamping companies really be allowed to intimidate and harass people for financial gain? Surely this cannot be allowed to go on. Had this not been recorded I hate to think what he would have done. Comment and Share please.

The older guy did everything he could to provoke a fight . Unbelievable.
A friend was parked LEGALLY in a car park and when he went to leave 15 minutes before the lot closed his truck had a clamp on it. He is a volunteer firefighter and his truck has lights and all the tools he would ever need on a call out including a $7500.00 Hurst Jaws Of Life Cutter/Spreader. Took his less than 3 minutes to remove the clamp. He called the company that clamped him and waited until they arrived and he told them about their illegal activity was on multiple cameras and he then gave them the $500.00 clamp he cut up. They tried to sue him but it backfired and they lost their license. 😊

Please Note: I am parked in an area that has no visible signs regarding private property or clamping. Honestly if I had been given a ticket by the correct authorities I would have paid it and been on my way. I am disputing that some random man that has nothing to do with where Im parked can just stick a clamp on and ask for €160. I do not condone parking where ever one likes, of course there has to be order. England, Scotland and Wales have banned clamping and are getting on fine. Its time it was banned in Ireland too. Massive, massive, massive credit to the young guy here regarding how he handled himself and this situation. He could have lost his temper and easily laid that old guy out. Instead he stood his ground and remained civil, even when the old man invaded his space.

The way he's constantly in your face, on your car, putting himself in your way purposely... He was looking to escalate the situation. Once his boot was off your wheel he had no reason to be there nevermind all up in your business. Good for you for not knocking him out, can't say I'd have been so calm.
