- Tiree continued to deliver, the day after my circumnavigation we had a lovely chilled day of sunshine and no wind, followed by two straight days of wind and waves. Ideal conditions for dialling in my new equipment.

Amazing - gotta love Tiree!!! Shredding dood 🤙🏻
Surprised it was so busy normally you only see one other person, I guess it will be even busier this year after people seeing this
Sick day mate! Great looking waves, good rigind and the sun to make the video beautiful! What a dream! ❤
I remember getting the ptm 730 and going how the hell can such a small wing have soooo much lift. The PTM wings are super exciting
The PTM’s have so much lift for there size but I just got the G700 and it’s amazing!
@@SamLight the medium aspect makes them super fun, I just finished a session on the G8000 Jav 5m and WC V2 70. We have a cyclone brewing in north Queensland so we should have some great wind over the next few days.
Dreamy winging!
looks great - how do you rate winging vs kiting for enjoyment these days?
It’s apples vs oranges for me, I really enjoy both depending on the conditions
👍🏼🤩
So beautiful
Hi Sam. Great vid! I’ve got a full kite foil set up but wanting to start winging. How do you pick what gear to use for the conditions? I’m 85 kg, sea breeze is typically 25-30 kt and I can kite foil. Also we have a break very similar to this where I live so I will be targeting waves. Thanks
hey, thanks, for 85kg beginner: 15 - 20 knots; 6m, 20-25 knots; 5m, 25-30 knots; 4m
Hey Sam, I bolted on the PS325 and moved the mast forward 4cm, I found it dropping in the nose at higher speed, I needed a shim under the leading edge of the PS325. Did you find the same thing?
Grant
hey, it takes a few sessions to get use to the PS325, i slide my foil all the way forward but i haven't tried using a shim, which shim did you use?
@@SamLight strangely I just just a plastic bread bag tag under the leading edge of the stab. I had a set of shims but a customer wanted to trial them and he hasn't replaced them I'd say about .5 positive but then the stab started to howl
Perfect holiday with the family, and time on the water
Is that the end of the Scottish series - need another vid!
dropped a new one yesterday, there's 3 left
@@SamLight awesome - don't know how your computer doesn't crash with all this good stuff!
cool video and what an awesome roadtrip!! Just wondering, how do you know it is deep eough for the foil and there arent no underwater obstacles like rock on an unknown spot?
awesome content
1:24 that match cut 👌
Awesome! We were up in Tiree the same week and actually watched you guys out on Crossapol.
Future goals right there!
Thanks Sam for the high quality content again! Been watching your vids since the beginning and i must say that it has always been a pleasure to watch! Big love from Belgium!
That spot looks fun for winging 👍🏽😊
Hey Sam, first of all thanks for your vids. I always watch them over and over again to check out technique and those things. Please make more wingvids in these waves!
Question; I see you are riding the boom (javelin) and then in other vids you are also in waves on the Slingwing.. what do you prefer and why?
No worries, thanks for watching. I prefer the boom at the moment, it's easier to manoeuvre, especially in the waves. However I can get more power out of my soft handle wings of equivalent size so I normally use the slingwing in lighter wind , stoked to help!
