I cycled the Hebridean Way in 2019 and was blown away by the scenery. I promised myself I’d go back with my kite gear and 5 minutes after watching this video I’m booked and looking forward to going in May.

Loving your Scotland trip. Having been to the Hebs i can appreciate the balls it takes to solo some of those spots. It’s intimidating the remoteness, deep dark water and sometimes brutal conditions.
Great to see you kitesurfing & so glad the death loop in offshore winds was quickly resolved - keeping a cool head and acting quickly is key, as you clearly did. Amazing scenery and thanks for sharing the experiences, appreciated. :)

Great video, when I saw the title I had visions of you having a kitemare out in the Taransay channel…. Amazing spot that I’ve winged and kited many times, also solo. Not somewhere you’d want to get into difficulty due to the remoteness and the tidal currents rip through there and out into the Atlantic in an outgoing tide! Love the videos! Scotland has sooo much potential!

Great spots there sam when it’s on we had a few kite and sup sessions all round the hebs pretty cool and isolated great for chilling ❤️🤙glad you had fun at Luskentire Varsity is another cool one Stornaway offshore session looked fun apart from the death loop 🪁✔️

Nice video, we know we shouldn’t take risk offshore wind even not going normally, but we go anyway 😂 and what shouldn’t happen always happen specially off shore my worst kite mare was always on the worst situation like this off shore glad always end up good but we have to be more careful. Wish you all good wind ✌️

I’m just getting myself going again after a lengthy and having the time of my life. My brother who is a substantially better kiter than me is always encouraging me to wear boots or shoes when but I’m better bare foot. Even in winter in Redcar.
Any thoughts on this.

Sweet video! What mouth mount are you using for gopro, or are you still just biting three floaty?
Thanks, I use the Go pro bite mount with no floaty so its nice and small and can tuck away in my wetsuit - just don't drop it 😆
That hopecraft is a good looking board, what foil wing were you riding?
yea the hope craft is SO good! I was using a PFI 657 front wing with 325 rear tail, my fav kite setup

@@desmoMarco91 I don't stand why most of the profesional kiters use the Code instead of the Machine , if the Machine is specific for Big Air?
@@gokucorrecaminos3711 the machine has better hangtime, but it definitely loops a lot worse and I haven’t even tried it. Just looking at the shape you can tell
@@desmoMarco91 good to know It , I just buy a Machine in 7 mt , I don't try yet to do a kiteloop with It , i thought that the Machine was similar to Rebel
@@gokucorrecaminos3711 it kind of is, the rebel is also much slower at kiteloops than an evo for example…their main characteristic is the massive hangtime but they don’t necessarily boost more than the other models and they definitely don’t loop easy at all

There are hundreds of potential spots. With few local sailors and the islands being such a mission to get to, you're just unlikely to be there on the same day as someone else. The psychology of launching from a deserted beach in the middle of nowhere has got to be part of it too. If you could do it as a road trip with some mates I think that would be the way forward, more confidence to push the boundaries a bit

Cool video. I had lines wrapped around bar happen at a similar-looking place Ireland, and after the death loop what's worse lines got wrapped around my hook so neither bar, quick release or lease eject worked. Through luck I found out why the eject didn't work when I reached down to my harness and found the lines wrapped around the hook. the Wish I'd watched this video before that! ruclips.net/video/naFKEWEHn6k/видео.html
