The DeLorean was a failure. But it’s a cool car. Fun Fact: DeLorean Motor Company was originally going to make a sedan called the DMC-24 but they couldn’t due to bankruptcy. If you want to see the prototype DMC-24, look up Lamborghini Marco Polo. It’s the same car that DeLorean was going to make
Fun story: I actually was once driving on a highway in Uk and saw the real back to the future Delorean which was sick and took some quick pictures.
Edit:I don’t mean real but what I meant was an exact replica.

I doubt it was the actual one they used in the film, but the body kit was probably very accurate which is very cool!

Fact: if you go into the car collection menu, select the Delorean brand, exit theat section and then re-enter, press Y and you can buy the time machine for 15k... just don't use it too much online...
Risky, if it's not patched after the Delorean is released in the playlist I might grab a few.

I love how we have the Delorean in the game but I am a little disappointed that it doesn't have any of the movie features in the Customization option but whatever still a badass car

The 1750 HP V8 swap makes the DeLorean so fast that it breaks the space time continuum and makes it travel forward in time!
It's a shame that you can't swap in a Rotary. At one point it was supposed to be mid-engined with a rotary in there. Not complaining too much though that Funco engine is a pretty good replacement
At least the turbo option is here, something considered for the car way later in development.
2 months ago, I saw a Delorean DMC-12 in the streets and it looked really nice! Aw man, I really wished I can see that one more time .

Fun fact: they had to put a custom speedometer for Back To The Future due to the speedometer only going to 85 mph, and the time travel speed is 88 mph

My DeLorean is tuned for top of B class and it works really really good. Honestly impressed!
I don’t know if you know this in FH5, but when you putting on or off the roof in convertibles and switch to photo mode and exit back out you can drive while the roof is in motion

When I was a kid and I would look at these and be in awe. I asked my dad if they were fast and he said they were heavy because they were made of steel. Looking at the weight stats I realize it’s because the engine is weak and the transmission is crap. The car is pretty light
Growing up in the 90s and going to middle school in the late 90s/early 00s always seen a guy in my neighborhood drive his daily except winter.
I saw 3 of these in a car event at brooklands museum in Surrey, didn’t realise they were mega rare lol
Fun fact there is still a Delorean factory in Humble TX, so yes you can still buy the car for a "cheap" price of $150,000.
Nick ny man you are the best!!! I picked up FH5 on November 9th and totally freaked out when the Delorean was not available to unlock. A huge thanks to you I know it was available for very short time for people who brought the Ultimate Edition (this was not available in Australia). I could only get the Standard Edition and now I am massively relaxed that it will re appear for next week's Weekly Forzathon!!

ive found that you need to tune how much power goes to front and back when useing AWD to make a good race car, AWD in FH5 has alot of understeer on any car.
Why am i the only one that noticed tomcat playing with the 6.7 diesel mustang. He made a video about that build

The delorean can be purchased from were you claim the prizes for collecting cars go over the delorean and back out and go back in and spam Y on your controller and it says if you want to purchase it for 15k and that’s how you get it early bam

You actually can buy it from the car collection menu. Select delorian, back out, then back in, then press Y on the controllers to buy.
Actually saw one on the road in North Georgia 2 weeks ago…. Couldn’t believe it.
i started playing today on PC. this game still has quite some bugs to sort out. the most frustrating bug that happens to me a lot is when it says i leveled up and got a wheelspin, i didn´t actually recieve one. happens like half the time.

The DeLorean Company is building new cars since 2 years ago because they found a whole warehouse full of original parts. You can custom order them on their website.
The new DeLorean Motor Company didn't find the warehouse full of parts, the founder bought it and started the company. Originally, it was intended to just service surviving originals, but what you posted about being able to order a new one is 💯% spot on.

Fun fact the most unbelievable thing about the back to the future films is that the Delorean hit 88 Mph
Top speed of a stock Delorean is 125mph. It can get to speed just fine they aren’t that slow.

I know a guy that has a drivable Delorian, but it needs to be worked on, I wish to drive it one day.
It was probably all because of licensing but they should’ve added a body kit that adds all of the Back To The Future things onto the car.

i got the DeLorean early using a glitch. if you enter the car collection thing in the menu and go to the DeLorean, select it, it'll say you cant get it yet, exit the collector thing and go back into it and while your loading in, im on xbox so its y for me, spam y or your top buton,(idk what to tell you if your on pc) and it should ask you if you want to buy it and its only 15,000.

Question for anyone who pre-ordered the premium edition of FH5, have your guy’s cars been feeling weird, like, have you felt that your cars aren’t as grippy or don’t drift as much as it did before the official release? My friends and I have that problem
Its the new physics! They did a big change and tired and brakes and suspension have been overhauled so id be tuning your setting different from what you normally do! Hope this is helpfull

other fun fact about the DeLorean : they did a collaboration with a bank and for every bank account created, they gifted a GOLDEN colored DeLorean, they managed to make 5 of the 100+ ordered before getting bankrupt
No they made 2 gold cars one is in Nevada and the other is in California. But there is a 3rd one that was built out of spare parts when consolidated international (big lots) bought the inventory from the factory they raffled them car off which is in Maryland today. It’s the only gold car in private hands and it had an odd passenger door since there was one gold door missing when they built the car.
