Totally agree with Nick on the developers adding the option to change between AWD and RWD mode on the go. This can be implemented into AWD cars that have a “Drift Mode” option in real life like the newest BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG
Same with the new mk8 golf r and 2017 focus rs
4x4 trucks all have the option to switch between 2 and 4 wheel drive. Should be an option
Now I like the mach e but they should put a stock one in just so players can build their Own tomtheir likeness cuz the 1400 only does 160mph unless I'm doing something wrong

For new forza players, remember to turn off traction control and stability control and use manual transmission for drifting.
With clutch for the better control
DEFINITELY appreciate this…couldn’t for the life of me figure out how he was able to get his score so high. Had already switched to manual but still wasn’t having much luck. Didn’t even think about turning the tc and sc off. First run after I did…422,477…definitely pleased with that. Cheers

I was about to shoot my self because of how much grip this fucker had on the second drift
I only use automatic transmission for drifting, partly because I don’t have a wheel/pedal setup to actually drive manual in the game and I don’t want to learn on a controller. It’s also much harder to drift a ton of points on an automatic vs using a manual, at least from the people that I’ve asked, so knowing this, I use automatic for everything now.
I’m not a new player, I’ve been playing since the tail end of Horizon 2, but when I realized I couldn’t buy any of its dlc anymore, I set my eyes on Horizon 3, and bought an Xbox One S bundle with the game featuring the Hot Wheels dlc expansion, and that was the first Horizon game that I fully invested all of my time into.
This thing is like a full sized RC car with the way it sounds and drives

I’d love to see them implement the awd of modern cars so that when the rear tires loose grip the front tires kick in automatically to keep traction that would be cool

The ability to switch between RWD & AWD should absolutely be given to the 4WD offroaders & pickup trucks in FH5 now that feature is in the game.

Hey Nick, can you try drift this car backward since it's electric therefore same amount of power in both forward and reverse gear? It would be interesting to see how it differs from normal drifting
You got check put the Raeaer. The 4000 torque car. You can upgrade it to x class then put the drift gearbox. It goes downs to A class. Its broken. Other cars dont stand a chance even the bone shaker. It can dominate the bone shaker like nothing. Also the Raeser can take on the s1(the purple one) meta too while it's in A class. Its op

it would be cool to have this on 4x4 trucks as well, and maybe just in the differential area of the tuning menu have a few buttons that say:
In drift events: rwd
racing events:awd/4x4
drag races: awd/4x4
etc with the option to change and configure it, same could be said for race mode.
because even cars like the r33 gtr had optional awd, where you could switch it to rwd or awd. it would be really nice to have that option

i feel like instead of making it an upgrade option they could make it carry over from what you had it on before the race. for instance, if you wanted it to be RWD in a race, before you enter the race, put it on RWD and when you start the race, you have RWD

So idk if it’s just me but I think the final mission is glitched, when you reach the point where they want you to switch to RWD it doesn’t do anything. You can’t even open the menu to leave. I’ve tried multiple times and it happened every time.🙁

As much as id like to see more on the fly selectable diffs, lets fix race modes and convertibles first, then we can go to slectable diffs. Tho i dont see any of them happening as were now how far past release and have how many convertibles and race modes?
you never mentioned how when you switch to rwd, it gets lowered to 800hp and 1000ftlb since the front motors are physically turned off.

Even though Forza isn’t a game for primary for off-roading, it would be sick of you could change to four high in the off-road cars that have that option in real life
