    Hi Adam
    Nice technic the Neko rig have a great wobble depending on the bottom structure and can make the deference to hook on.
    See some little connection prob video, not to bad and hope you notice it too green flashes. Ones buy a good gear, you set for live and have super fun 👊 catch almost everthing with it. Good to see using good netting and respect for nature.

    Great video as always, excellent information on how to setup and use the Neko rig. Thinking of getting a BFS setup but not confident on casting Bait casting reels, any chance of a video. PS new to lure fishing at 72, been flyfishing all my life. Really enjoying your videos and learning loads thank you

      Thanks Chris!! Much appreciated mate and that's a great idea for a video. I'll get it done for you over the coming weeks. So cool to hear you are getting into it from flyfishing. Genuinely humbled you are watching my vids!! Remember you don't need a baitcaster to do all the techniques I show in the vids but they are good fun and for alot of it I find it more comfortable. I'll do a basics vid for you soon mate. Thanks so much again for the support and watching the vids it's much appreciated!! 👊🙌💯

      When I first came to the UK I tried all the small baits and I struggled to catch the perch so I said the hell with it and started to use my bass tactics and then started to catch the big ones 44 cm and the small ones on the big baits

    Hi. I've a baitcaster paired with a 10 to 30 g rod. But have trouble casting smaller baits. Guess I'd need a lower casting weight rod or better reel. Cheers

    I really enjoy your videos they are very imfomative. I notice you use a left hand wind baitcaster is thet because you are left handed or is it better to use right hand to control the rod if you are right handed.

    • @Watercraftfishingtv
      @Watercraftfishingtv  5 лет назад

      Hi Steve! Hope you're well mate. Thanks man I really appreciate it and I'm glad they are useful and your enjoying them! Yea I'm right handed but find it much more comfortable to wind with my left and cast with my right. This is quite common I think over here in the UK and Europe but in the US and Australia I know they use alot more right sided reels I guess it's all just what you are used to and ever your most comfortable with. Are you right handed wind on your set ups?

    • @stevehodges4092
      @stevehodges4092 5 лет назад +2

      @@Watercraftfishingtv Yes I am right handed and when using multipliers for sea fishing I use right handed multipliers. But for lure fishing I can see why a left handed reel would be better.

      If you are using Zman or a Zman like "stretchy" plastic then you don't need to but with all other types I'd use a ring! Hope that helps mate 👊

    Once again a great video, quick question what would the maximum weight to use on a neko rig?

    • @Watercraftfishingtv
      @Watercraftfishingtv  5 лет назад

      Cheers mate!! Really appreciate it and glad you enjoyed it! It's a good question. I think 1,2,3,5gr work really well. The bait sinks like a stone because it's pulled from the bottom and is mega streamlined so I'd start slightly lighter than you would with a Cheb or a Texas and work up! What types of weight are you thinking?

    I'd love to try using the type of gear you use here, but I'd have to sell bodily organs to do that. LOL Would I be OK with a normal fixed spool reel, or do you need a baitcaster ?.

    • @Watercraftfishingtv
      @Watercraftfishingtv  5 лет назад +2

      Hi mate! Completely get it man. I have sold half of mine already 😉🥺 You can 100% fish this on a FS set up! Any rod you would fish a 2-7 gr Cheb or Texas would work well.
