Congratulations on the 4lb5oz perch. Shame you were disappointed at your video performance..you'll just have to go and get another one! Great stuff man..please keep 'em coming! Well done!
Thanks Dave! 😂 I guess you're right. I'll have another go or two that's for sure 😉 Thanks for the support mate I really appreciate it and I am really glad you are enjoying them! 🙌👊

Nice one Adam, shame we missed all the fight of the PB perch but the main thing is you caught it so dont beat yourself up bud, great content as usual, I do quite like videos which are made of a number of clips personally. Keep it up bro
Well done on catching a 4lb plus perch 😮👌, that zander was nice too. Since watching a few of you videos I’ve brought some Crawz in the deal and the trd in bubble gum. The hooks were a bit big so waiting for the next size to arrive 😂.
Thanks mate! That's cool. Let me know how you get on with them. The pike love the TRD's as well so I was thinking of getting some bigger ones and really trying to target them on neds. I've been loving your channel as always mate! 👊🙌
Although two years ago, that perch is an absolute stonker of a fish. Wouldn't mind betting your grin was ear to ear on the day. Belated con-grats buddy. Anything bigger since that one ?? Just about to have a crack at this myself. Think im further south than you, east London Essex area. All the best mate 👍 Be lucky. Les.
Great fishing I live up north and had been inspired to catch my Zander so have joined a midlands club to get access to some stretches of canals so hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will catch my first Zander . Had 7 pike last week to 11lb on the ned still struggling to find the perch though
Thanks David! That's awesome news! I'm a member up there as well. I'm not there loads but I may see you on the bank! Best of luck mate. Keep me posted! You will love the bite it's ferocious!! 👊🙌
Nice! Recently found your channel and find myself checking very often for new uploads. Love what you are doing! Dont suppose you want to tell me where in the midlands you are. I fish the soar and grand union in Loughborough and it's been tough the last few years
these boys will never tell ;) they will be private stretches and lure lads are on them all the time so they know where the fish are moving to and where they are at any given time. not taking away from the catch its amazing. just gotta know the spots otherwise you will blank time and time again other than if youre wasping
Great vid mate. Been there with the cameras. Caught a lovely Pike last month but weather bad and lense smudged to hell just couldn't't use footage. Always catch when battery goes half way through retrieve to.
Thanks mate! Been getting kinda itchy to get one out so cobbled one together 😂 man I know it's a totally different art the filming and fishing lark 😂💯 I've been enjoying your vids mate! 👊🙌
Just found yor channel really enjoyable great fishing Adam i go to the USA every year to do some lure fishing especially using a kayak there they have so many places to fish can't wait I'm going back this year can't wait off to the Everglades but i love fishing for big Perch at home in the uk you have just earned a subscription great channel Adam ALIEN
Congrats Adam - That's a HUGE Perch :) Nice Zander(s) too......yet another fish we don't have over here in Ireland.... What's with the 1/10th Oz. thing? 3 grams? :) (I know - 2.8g)
Just found your channel ex carp angler now committed lure fisherman. You have probably been asked this before but do you ever use a wire leader. Even on very small lures I will use a 6lbs titanium wire trace. What are your thoughts. Love the channel loads of great tips
Hi Gary. Firstly thanks for taking the time to watch the vids. I appreciate the feedback and I'm really glad you have enjoyed the vids. Trace wise if I am fishing purely for perch on the deck (I.e with crayfish imitations Ned style or weedless) I will use Fluro unless I find I am getting alot of pike in a particular area in which case the trace comes out. Most of my spots are higher perch density and when fishing on the deck the pike tend to stay away and when they do take it I find it's much more subtle and they pick it up in the side of their mouth like a dead bait therefore my bite off rate is extremely low. If I am fishing a shad or anything that is swimming through the water column which I don't do very often for big perch and if it's bigger than an inch I will always use a wire trace and for the smaller stuff I again use my discretion based on stock density. Hope that makes sense. Please feel free to fire any more questions across as your lure fishing adventures continue. I hope you are well and tight lines!
Great vid and lovely fish. Have lurked you’re vids for a while and just subscribed. I’m the head bailiff for stretch you caught your zeds. Give me a shout next time you’re about - would love to have a chick with you guys👍🏻

Hi mate loving your vids. I’m from Northampton and love canal fishing but don’t have much luck with jigging and Ned rig I think it’s no confidence and I go back to my trusty mepps aglia or blue fox spinner modified with a single hook rather than a treble . Can you give me some advice , soooooo murky water ?- bright or dark colours. Do you think the fish see the shadow /silhouette of dark colour or bright colour ie fire tiger. Is it the same for perch and zander. Cheers Steve

I both weigh and measure my fish. The more info the merrier in my opinion.
