Arrrggghhh! Can’t get out at the minute my locals flowing down the road at the moment. But what better way to unwind. Thanks for the video mate, some great fun in these uncertain times. Stay safe everyone 👍👍🎣🎣
Oh no Paul! Thanks for watching and I'm so glad it was a good distraction from not being able to get out! I hope you are safe and well mate and tight lines for when you do get out!! 👊🎣🙌
So glad to have found you uploading a video again ... absolutely love you style and channel. Keep up the great work & stay safe! Best wishes from Berlin ...
Marco thanks for your msg. It really does mean alot to know you enjoy the vids. Much appreciated mate! I'll get some more out soon. Petri for your next trip 👊🇬🇧🇩🇪🙌
Some nice Perch caught well done Adam keeping alert watching for bait fish payed off, I read your article in this weeks Angling Times a real nice Dace of a 1lb caught well done mate keep vlogging and stay safe.
Excellent video really enjoyed it some nice fish on the good old Junebug 👌 happy new year to you and your family hope you are well and blessed with all good things 🙏
Hi mate. Great videos! I watched them all. Could you please make o presentation video for the new mc rod? I really fancy one but you can’t find anything on it. Like a proper review. What lures does it excels on? What weights? Is it a soft tip? How would you compare it with the msx? Or speedystile? What type of graphite does it have in the blank? How sensitive and crisp is it?
Ah nothing huge but sure they were all welcome fella. Just pike and chub for me but at this time of the year anything putting a bend in the rod is welcome :)
Yea you cant bank the big ones without showing the small one I guess 😂 thanks for watching as always mate! Exactly a bend in the rod and some fresh air is always a win. Hope you are well mate! 👊
Sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the login password. I love any tips you can offer me.
@Reign Alden I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Great session Adam, that fish at 17 minutes was an absolute stunner! Like yourself I haven’t been out for nearly 5 weeks due to furlough, home schooling and my wife being a key worker. If I remember rightly you too are a key worker? I managed a walk on the canal earlier and was the first time being near water. Funny how we miss our reset time
Sorry if this a very "noddy" question but new to lure fishing. I've read alot that you should search for the shoal of perch with Jig Rig etc, then change to a catching rig like Neg or Dropshot. So what is wrong with just using the Ned Rig from the start? Thankyou Phil.
Love the last session on the he canal, loads of walkers everywhere too😩 Adam have you tried the"little hottie" hand warmers ? Brilliant for winter fishing, come in pairs too.game changer
Hi Adam I am new to using soft Lures.I would like to get some ZMan Lures, can you advise on what patterns and colours may be good for targeting Perch on a River (I live about 5 mins away from the River Ouse in Bedford ).There are big Perch in the Ouse and the stretch I fish, has Weirs and Lock Gates,Bridges and fast and slow sections. Cheers Keith
Loving these videos mate. Going to target perch this year. See all your videos are winter based? Would you say the rigs and lures you use will work in the summer? On a canal?
Hi Adam Wish I had sessions like that 😬 If I catch one perch the size of your so called big wasp, that's a great day for me😃 Been struggling round my way. Hopefully things will pick up 🤞 Tight lines bud 🎣🎣🎣
I just found your youtube channel, i really like your content, you are so easy going as a person that its awesome to watch your videos 😊 i really like that you are fishing with z-man stuff, i just started ned rig with z-man stuff this spring, and its now my favourite type of fishing 😊 i really hope that you are gonna make more videos soon, i saw it was about 6 month sense your last video, have you quit? You are awesome man, Wish you make more videos! Cheers from Härnösand Sweden.
Cracking channel Adam - quick question. Seen a few ways to attach the skirtz to the shroomz - what your method keeping everything in place. Do you trim the ned or the skirt?
Hi Adam, Just recently discivered your channel! Great job! Love the way you say out loud your thoughts about what you think the fish are doing/your technical approach! Really lovely! I also really love the action of that rod!!! When do you reckon it would be commercialised... and would it be possible to have it shipped overseas? Cheers from Melbourne, Australia.
Nice video as always Adam! Is it the Z-man ned/skirted jigheads you use there? do you remove the weedgard, or do you find the hookups are ok with the bfs equipment as it is?
Great channel and vids mate. Right, it's been bugging me who you remind me of, to look at, and it just came to me out of the blue. I recon that you Mr Adam Jones, look alot like the multiple weight world champion boxer Saul 'Canello' Alverez. I don't know if you have ever had anyone else say that you look like 'Canello' Alverez the boxer, but i can't believe that i'm the only person that thinks this. And in your earlier vids where your beard is shorter, you be his twin. Anyway I just wanted to say that before I forget to mention it. Nice one mate, always excellent viewing your vids. You manage to make something that is definitely not easy, look pretty effortless. Spot on Adam or shud we start calling you 'Canello' Jones, lol. And incase you was wundering 'Canello' is Spanish for 'Cinnamon', which is his nickname on account of him having red hair, like yours. If you're a fight fan you will already know this, but if you dont follow boxing, maybe you wouldn't know. Anyway nice one mate, loving your vids keep em cuming. Cheers. Mick.
Adam, I’ve been watching a few of your wonderful videos, I can’t afford the £700 + your kit costs, what rod and reel combination would you recommend without breaking the bank?
Looking for some advice on fishing the river on ned rigs tomorrow. With the snow n the weather the way it is, im just not sure. What do you think guys? Is it worth it?
As long as you have more than few inches clarity I'd say yes!! It won't be easy but of you find them stacked up in a slack it's game on I banked 6 big perch in 25 mins yesterday two were 3lb 15oz from the river in a far bank slack. On a Ned. Tight lines mate. And let me know how you get on!! 👊
@@Watercraftfishingtv thats awsome mate thanks for the reply (just earned yourself a new subber) ill buy the ticket and let you know if i win the raffle. Tight lines to you too mate
Great video Adam, thanks for sharing 👍 Quick question, I have the same rapala vest, when have the net on your back, is it going between the vest and your body, or through the elasticated bungee type thing on the outside of the vest?? I'm struggling to find a happy medium at the moment of how i have my net
Thanks Ian! Glad you enjoyed it mate!! Right kinda difficult to explain but I use a strong net magnet and I attach that to the metal loops of the netting on the back of the vest. When I bring my net in to connect to the magnet I feed the handle up through the space between my back and the vest and under the shoulder strap then when it connects to the magnet the net handle is locked in place behind my shoulder strap. Hope that makes sense mate! 👊💯
@@Watercraftfishingtv no that doesn't make sense Adam Hahaha. If you have 30 seconds in a future video do you mind showing that setup? I have a similar but I always end up just shoving the net in my back and the point of the magnet becomes almost redundant 😂👌
Hi mate. Hope you are well! When handling perch like I am in this video I tend to hold onto the lip whilst supporting the body with the other hand. This is due to (as you can see in this vid) them being very lively and sharp and this stops me from potentially dropping them when they inevitably flip and flap in my hands and also stabbing myself. Never hold a perch by the lip horizontally without taking the weight of the body in your other hand. I am not holding them by the lip horizontally I am securing them by it. A securely held fish is better than a dropped fish in my opinion. Based on repeat captures sometimes as far as 14 months apart I know that my perch handling technique is not only safe and looks after the fish. But as long as you are not harming the fish you hold them as you see fit! Adam
@@Watercraftfishingtv You spoke about your fish handling technique is safe but throwing them back is not a good idea as we know water can be as hard as concrete when dropped from a height just a friendly piece of advice, otherwise a good video definitely picked up some tips.
Thanks mate. I will bare in mind. The other thing to bare in mind is the fish eye of my lense does make it look like I'm further away from the water than I am (a matter of feet) it's no different to dropping a fish into a keep net in many cases. Like I said I take fish care very seriously as you do and truly love perch so I will bare in mind for the future. Tight lines mate.
Cheers mate! It's the new spro telescopic flick net but if I'm honest I'm not that impressed with the build quality for the money. I'd avoid until that bring the new batch out with some changes. Hope you are well mate! 👊
8 months later I've found this comment and I can safely say it's just about perseverance and practise, no issues with casting anymore; one day it just clicked
