Taka try baju melayu johor style, it's a bigger style and worn slightly differently. With the sampin(skirt) worn under the top. So ask for johore style in the shop ok.

Char kway teow malay style is normally more gravy. Char kway teow chinesw style normally dry. Pleasw try watan ho kway teow chinese style with seafood. Yummy
Btw Id like to see your opinions on tempe. Its fermented soy beans. In Japan I think you have natto, which is runny, but here we have tempe which becomes a solid block of fermented soy beans. Sometimes its fried plain with some salt, but I like it in Jawa cooking where they add so many extra things such as glass noodles, long beans, potatoes, and sambal. The dish you should look for is "Sambal goreng Jawa". Eaten with plain rice, its just heaven on earth
