I will tell you this, Spike after seeing and hearing your antics, actions, commentary and laughter , I just feel better overall. HBR’s content is just the best, the best! Appreciate what all of you do for us viewers. Congrats on the finds!
I took advantage of the invitation from Spike at the end of this video and came to the Purvis artifacts show today! I drove over from Mobile and I had a great time enjoying all the artifacts on display! I had the opportunity to speak with Mathew and share in his enjoyment of what yall do! Missed out on saying hello to Spike and Randy as they were busy at the time! Standing nearby it was easy to tell how much you guys enjoy what you do! I look forward to the next time. I will continue to follow your video adventures. Happy hunting!
Man O man!! Two San Patrice in one day! Two super fine ones at that!!! Congrats to the whole crew. Many other extremely nice points as well. Hard to top the Patrice twins though…😍
Yes it is. Finding one is a thrill for us...but two was almost too much for my old heart! lol Thanks for stopping in folks and continued good luck to yall up there.
Spike, Randy, I came across your channel about a month ago. I have watched other related channels but none of them stand to compare with yours. I lived in Leake County MS from '82 to '98. I have not witnessed the southern comradery that I see between you all since I left MS. I truly enjoy watching your videos. Sometimes watch them over and over. I am now retired and live in Central Virginia. I have a 5 acre plot of land. I have accidently found a point a few years ago on an elevated portion above a spring fed stream. Now after watching your videos, I believe I may need to investigate that elevated area and the stream a little more. Thank you all for providing such great videos. God bless you all and happy hunting.
We're so glad you found us! We really do have a great bunch of guys in our little group. The arrowheads are just lagniappe. The real prize is the fellowship. Good luck on your hunts my friend.
A little late but man it’s so nice to see this video. You guys are very good at what you do and your love and appreciation is contagious. Growing up my dad wasn’t the greatest of dads. To put it mildly. But one thing the man did do was teach me about arrowhead hunting and take me out as a young child. I turned 12 or 13 and basketball came calling here in Indiana and I couldn’t of cared less about hunting points. Boy you already know there came a time later in my life I regretted being that selfish teen boy. After that was gone there wasn’t much left that was me and him. Now I’m 45 and my youngest son and me are relic hunting treasure hunting fools :). And I forgave dad long ago and he is still kicking. Life is good and it’s stuff like arrowhead hunting that in the end matters so much because if pushes us to spend time with friends and family.
.Unique adventure friends, in the rain. If one day the rain caught me in the plains I would not leave there for three days. Beautiful San Patricio, here we have never found one. Beautiful Flint Creek, wow great Barbed, blessings my friends.
A friend of mine is digging a site and has found 15 or more halves of banner stones and none of them match up. Y'all had one heck of a day! Those San P's are just absolutely beautiful!
Mi amigo me da gusto encontrar a alguien latino aqui con mis amigos de Heartbreaker Relics. Bendiciones en tu camino. Te invito a ver nuestros hallazgos.
What an awesome dig the field produced good. points also nice Pickwick cotacco creek and other types and 2 phenomenal San Patrice points congratulations to everyone.
I started watchin' y'all awhile back, and was real interested bc the Leaf River was mentioned. My late Mother lived in Lucedale, and we crossed the Leaf many times to visit her. I wish I could go see her now and maybe tagalong once. I found broken heads and chips on the Brockway farm there, but no heads. Salute and Good Luck head hunt'n!!
It's a good thing that Hank is just one of the guys. Rain doesn't seem to bother him as long as he is with all of you guys. Boy, you guys found some lovely points this time.
Thanks and thanks for remembering Ole Hank but this was Lola in this video. She is Jeremy's dog and ever the faithful companion, especially when she knows we have food lol.
The two best points I've ever found, I found as a kid in Texas on the Gulf coast. The first was on the ground on my school yard, right where the rain was running off the roof of the gym. It was a tar and gravel roof, and there was tar on one side of the point. The second, I found not too long after, crab hunting with my friend Cash, poking around breakwater rocks, it was stuck between two big rocks, I ended up trading that point , in a curio shop, for a Barlow knife, my first pocket knife, so, great memories.
I'm from Mississippi specifically the oxford area and I wish I could find some points like this. keep up the good work I learn a lot from yalls videos being a new hunter and all.
Awesome hunt. Love your videos. You guys have a blast! Was wondering what the name of the song is that played during Matthew and Chris’s hunt. You always have great content. Blessings.
Thanks. We take turns taking an artifact out of the sifter. We also have the option of deferring the find to the next person in line and waiting on a point.
I have found a few really good points after a few years in fields. I feel like I can locate spots thanks to your how to videos. But what kind of land are you using? Is this private property? And of so how do you ask to go diging around looking for rocks 😂. I'm use to getting permission to fields. But I am addicted to finding them and can use some tips of actually excavating!
Thanks for watching. We're glad to be able to help you. If you see a place that looks promising ,ask permission to dig and tell the property owner you will leave it as you found it or better. Some of the places we dig are on land the person we are digging with owns himself. In several cases they don't want their holes filled in but on others they do. Unless they tell you otherwise, fill them in. Thanks again and good luck.
Most of the stuff we find is used up knives and points. When they got through with them they just threw them down. Plus when they moved they didn't carry a lot with them. Sometimes they would cache them and leave them behind so they would know where they are when they come back to that site but sometimes they don't make it back. Those are the caches people find. If you think about it, even if they take some with them sooner or later they're going to be lost or thrown away. Every point or blade that has ever been made is out there somewhere to this day.
How would a guy know where to start a dig such as this? I know you guys didn’t just pick this spot and start digging and then got lucky. What are certain things you would look for to pick this location?
Thank you for your advice! I watched the video and using the information I found an area on my property that is a definite camp site. I am finding chips all the way from the top of the ground to a 1.5 feet deep. I haven’t found my first point yet but I did find a rather large piece that is definitely worked, I would guess it to be a scraper of some sort. I haven’t gotten to do much digging yet but just the test holes but they tell a story. Lots of different kinds of flint chips, fired rocks, and even charcoal. I’m located in eastern Oklahoma. I appreciate the help sir!
And after a couple hours this Sunday after church my daughter found our first point! It was about a 8 inches below the surface. drive.google.com/file/d/1ksqz81TJ-JAIMNb2BLXqigCDIjAEkDvV/view?usp=drivesdk
Difference between digging sites and sifting creeks is a STARK contrast in consistency and potential for stuff like this happening. Y'all will continue to have days like this if you stay persistent on sites like that. Don't fix what ain't broke and you'll continually recover killers like that. Paleo sites are tough sometimes but if you're able to dig less than three feet down and pull Paleo like that, keep after it.
I will tell you this, Spike after seeing and hearing your antics, actions, commentary and laughter , I just feel better overall. HBR’s content is just the best, the best! Appreciate what all of you do for us viewers. Congrats on the finds!

Thanks my friend. Take care down there and avoid the floods in the plains.

Thanks Cliff. We were just talking yesterday about where all the other halves to the broken banners are. Take care my friend.
Best video yet. Something about the compiling of videos and music made it special. Thank you from maryland !

Wow you guys sure cleaned up today! Nice points🎉
Thanks. It was a great day for sure.
What a day! Congratulations on those amazing points! Loved the banner stone too!
Thanks Ben! Take care my friend.
The arrowhead show today was great seen you but didn’t see spike
all of that pesky rain has stirred up those creeks. more finds exposed!!
You got that right. We are ready for creek season.

Man those are some fine points indeed! Excellent editing too Spike… congratulations on those fine pieces and I wish y’all continued success🏆🏆🏆
Thanks Jeff, on both accounts. Take care my friend.
Soggers!!! 😎🏹🔥
Boys Ole Mike is a Wealth of Knowledge when it comes to point type identification. Who needs a Overstreet when you got PBR Mike 😎🏹🤙
Thanks! You got that right about Ole Mike! He know is points.
I'm from Mississippi specifically the oxford area and I wish I could find some points like this. keep up the good work I learn a lot from yalls videos being a new hunter and all.

Thanks Steve. Always great to hear from you.
To go with you guys would be a blast I’d imagine. I rarely get anyone to even show interest 🙃 sweet finds tho.!!!
We do have a blast and wish for you the same. Take care and stay with it. You'll run across someone with the same interest one day.
@@HeartbreakerRelics I’ll keep trying. Hopefully we pull some killers out
Awesome hunt. Love your videos. You guys have a blast! Was wondering what the name of the song is that played during Matthew and Chris’s hunt. You always have great content. Blessings.
Thank you so much! I think the song is THE RESTLESS ONES by Josh Garrels. It's listed in the description.
Not a bannerstone. It a broken tool. Beautiful peace
Thanks, we eventually figured that out lol.
Man them was some parties good video thanks
Thanks. Always a pleasure to hear from you.
Broke red tip definitely a heartbreaking find
Yes it was. Thanks for stopping by.
When a point in found in the sifter, how do you decide who gets the point? Thank you for the fun videos. I always enjoy myself.
Thanks. We take turns taking an artifact out of the sifter. We also have the option of deferring the find to the next person in line and waiting on a point.

Kylie, you got a fan! Thanks for watching and for the comment.
@@HeartbreakerRelics you are very welcome
Maybe it was raining artifacts that day?
15:21 on the left side center of the screen, under the plant- is that a point? or a leaf?
It's either a leaf or a big flake.
I think the first piece is just red ochre
I think you're right.
Guys can you PLEASEEEE tell me the first song after the intro? I can’t get it out of my head or find it anywhere
I'm not sure which song you're referring to but the music is listed in the description.
Why would the natives leave these points there? Why not take them when they left?
Most of the stuff we find is used up knives and points. When they got through with them they just threw them down. Plus when they moved they didn't carry a lot with them. I lived in Oklahoma very close to where the Canadian river connects with the Arkansas, many Dalton's and San Patrice type points, Graham Caves etc
Our area is not so lucky in that respect. They are some of the most beautiful and well made points in my opinion.
