    I work in hotels..
    Hotels use duvet covers for their inserts..
    If she could prove that this would save overall time on cleaning rooms vs using normal duvet covers then yes..
    She would also have to drastically get the cost down to attract hotel chains to buy this also..

    Did none of them know that you can change a duvet cover just by simply turning your duvet cover inside out, grab the corners of your quilt with the duvet and pull?
    I assumed that's why her sales where so bad because if you know how to change a cover it's not that time consuming.

    Even tho her product may be of quality, it seems like the whole focus was on how it saves time by being easy to put on the bed. Most people don't google "time saving duvets" when shopping for one. They look for materials, colors, reputation and all over quality. Not just some no name blanket that says well, it's saves time!

      Low evaluation on par with sales, amazing pitch, and a product that was almost entirely profit. That dude only asked for $10k for 25% of the company if I remember correctly. I know Mark invested more, but the risk him losing any money was pretty low.

    Not just royalty. In Germany it was the only type of blankets (with these covers). Nice warm in freezing cold households. Since our only way of heating was coal and wood.

    when i was young i was courtordered to work a few weeks in hospitals, a couple of times...mainly taking the sheets of the beds and put fresh ones back on the steamcleaned beds...i hated every second...but i can still make a bed in about a minute ...so thats why im out

    Im mildly annoyed they even let her on the show, took up a spot from potentially a more viable, mature company with at least some sales to back them up. At times its a little obvious some people came on the show just for the free marketing.

    I just want a bed and some blankets and I usually don't care what I sleep on or if I make my bed in the morning because I have to go to work. When I get home I just jump on my bed and sleep not caring if it looks pretty. People trying to improve what is not broken usually never works.

    Changing duvet cover for a normal family is just 2 or 3 months once thing. So time saving is not a essential. But for hotels, changing duvet cover is EVERYDAY, time saving is important, so I would suggest she sell to hotels.

    I mean, I just stuck stuck my hands on the cover grabbing it from inside my duvet and then shake a little bit while keeping the cover in my hands, it aligns just like that. It's not a long process either, but maybe it's because my duvet is a single.

    The only way she would be able to sell these is if the price was $40, not 140.
    With duvet covers, all you need to do is put your hands into the corners, then grab the corners of the duvet, and shake the duvet cover down, and your cover is on.

      That or the burrito method. But you're right, I would spend 40 to 60 dollars on this for the convenience but not an additional $100. And if you have a couple beds in the house this cost can get ridiculous especially if you want a backup cover for wash days.

    If you don’t have a large bed headboard (which might be a significant percentage of market) then it might not work that well.

    She's delusional and very hopeful. I've seen such naiveness especially in graduates with master degrees but with little experience in the real world either in a 9-to-5 or starting a business.
    You gotta stay humble and respect the room

    the product doesn't save time when you know what you're doing with regular covers and with zippers on 3 sides I assume it would be slightly less comfortable aswell. Overall it's worse and costs more than regular covers, so obviously her sales are terrible.
