This seems like such a fantastic show compared to Dragon's Den. The people are Dragon's Den are so mean and hostile but these guys seem like they aren't totally depressed and hate their lives.
Britain's Dragon's Den I agree with, but the Canadian one, which used to have Kevin and Robert on it, is similar in mood to our Shark Tank, and the Australian Sharks are super nice.
This is such a beautifully crafty pitch all over, the two guys suggested their deal to the shark which in easy terms mean......."You give us 100k for 20% and 100k loan which can go away from 2$ royalties basically having the shark work to make his money back himself, and the guy countered by saying, he'll give you 100k for 22.5%, 100k in loan, royalty gone which means the guys will have to pay back from their own profits and instead the shark get's to take 50% of their earnings from the licensing deal of the patent, which basically means despite owning 20% on the company, he'll take 50% of base profits, additional of 20% equity value which he can liquidate, and a loan which'll give a 7% interest cash flow so he makes his money back whether or not the company profits as much.
If you take your boat to the sandbar, you are going to grill ON YOUR BOAT. Why in the world would anyone take the time to set up a grill IN THE WATER and then jump in the water to grill? Then you need your spices you forgot so then back in the boat to grab spices while the grill floats away.. STUPID PRODUCT.
