Swissair is the best airline I have been on! I recomend it for everyone! They are very helpfull in anyway, and always service minded. I do fly quite alot (12-14 pr. year) and I always fly swissair!

sorry, things have changed. Business: London-Chicago worst ever. Economy return... worst ever. I have photos/videos of everything to compare to other Star Alliance members. 737-300 old interior :( unfriendly & unhelpful crew :( denied a certain salad in business then 2 hours later saw the crew eating it. 15 minutes to get 1 coffee at breakfast time? Never removed dishes even though passing by several times, so I often brought things to them. And Economy return, hmm... 1 hour cooked broccoli? a half wurst and tater tots that dissolved. - I complained, the reply... "but sir, you're in economy" Upon landing I was refused the next 2 flights. They canceled my remaining connecting flights without compensation. Happy to be back with Lufthansa later that same day. 200k+ miles per year. Swiss, you know better is possible. Don't punish the only person willing to speak up. The 80% of passengers may only fly international once every few years, but I fly international twice a week.

What's the temperature on Swiss air like? I'm not seeing individual air nozzles like many other planes. Luftansa didn't have them either, the cabin was hot and stuffy. Nearly passed out!

No, this all wrong, the original airline of Switzerland, is Swissair, Swissair was founded first in Switzerland, the airline operated from 1933 to 2002. Hopefully, Swissair would return to exist.

Hello there I want to just say that I am not very happy with Swiss Air the people are great but as I have medical problems and may POSSIBLY have to have oxygen, the medical team has, has prepared for this HOWEVER although other airlines do not charge for the Oxygen Swiss Air is going to charge me £508 ( A little less than my ticket price) for this oxygen that I may not even need, I would accept if they wanted to charge something but £508 really. a but much over the top I think
I am indeed quite fond with Swiss airlines, I have been traveling with them to Belgrade twice and never had many complains. But my entertainment system did not work but I got some money back anyways!

What a horrible airline. Rude, arrogant, grumpy and unhelpful staff for the entire journey. I had booked a first class ticket on Swiss from Geneva to New York. Upon entering the craft the stewardess began arguing with me (!) and refused to allow me entry to my seat in first class. I told her my ticket was first class but she actually pushed me, "no, no! you cannot come here. you go there" (pointing to the economy class). I showed the this arrogant rude old woman my ticket. She seemed to only expect men in first class. What a bigot!
After being seated and lunch came around, they had no food for me! The old cow said they had "run out". I had to have whatever was left which was some kind of cheese plate with crackers and some small snack. I simply found this appalling and unacceptable 'service'. I had paid for a really expensive ticket. They couldn't even courteously show my to my seat and provide lunch. For drinks I only got one glass of wine, as they had "run out".
Bringing this to the attention of the Swiss office in New York, they showed the same sour rude attitude and provide no compensation, no apology or remedy for this appalling treatment. I used to fly every 2-3 weeks. I've never stepped my foot on a Swiss airlines flight again.

SWISS INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES just sent me an email : "we cancelled your way back since you didn't show up for the first flight". -"yeah, I couldn't, a close relative had to be taken to the hospital in emergency" -"Is this relative dead ?" -"No, she's in a critical state but still in the coma" -"if she's not dead we cannot do anything about your flight. She has to be dead if you want your fight back". THANKS SWISS INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES

I do not recommend SWISS to those with disabilities, or anyone for that matter.
The disgusting manner in which my special needs request was handled (based on a valid disability, which they even admitted was valid) horrified many, including flight attendants, travel agents, and even management at an airline here in Canada.
A simple seating request was "too much to handle" because they seem to favour elite members over anyone else - even persons with disabilities.
Needless to say, someone with the authority to yank my ticket from SWISS did so without penalty, and switched it to Brussels Airlines (where the simple request was met with absolutely no resistance whatsoever).
SWISS' sheer arrogance towards passengers with disabilities is extremely shameful, and I hope someone sues them.
Actually, you are incorrect.
Lets take the US for example. So long as the flight leaves or arrives at an airport in the US, the ADA applies. Not following it can give rise to a lawsuit for damages.
Now...I am in Canada, not the US. There are similar regulations, but it isn't quite as simple as the US.
One needs to complain to the Canadian Transportation Agency - although they don't have the right to order damages. One would need to pursue damages in Montreal at the Small Claims Court.
I will say that that I did complain to the CTA and SWISS did resolve the matter at that point.

I am not surprised at all. I had a awful experience in first class. They are horrible and they will never provide any kind of customer service. The staff is appalling and rude through the entire flight
I'M VERY DISSAPOINTED with Swiss airlines. I loved to use their service till last couple days. They've changed my tickets: date& time. Which is obviously ruined my plan entirely. They are not reliable anymore. Swiss airlines don't even try to keep their customers. Guess what?! There's no compensation for that!!!!!!!!!

Roach Stinky swissair and swiss are two different airlines... swissair was grounded in 2002 and swiss was invented out of swissair-partner crossair. So swiss and swissair are not the same
