these are all good, really fixes most of my issues with the ost, it proves that they are pretty good compositions themselves but the instrumentation was their downfall in the original games soundtrack/ except speed jungle act 2 which i think was kinda perfect how it was
I love these remixes that you covered for this mod, Virtuous! You covered some key elements that were missing from the original compositions that were first introduced to us since it would be focused on being too classic like the good ol days. If I have to be honest, I don't love Frozen Base's new BPM. The original was perfect for the adventure aspect and the Egg Fortress on the horizon. That outta the way, the rest of these are fantastic. I'm surprised by how good the Speed Jungle Act 2 remix is, and Fang the Hunter curb stomps the original by a landslide.
That's fine! I wanted to go for a chill beat with more winter sounding instruments rather than what the original went for so I get missing it, Im glad you enjoyed everything else 🙏

Since you’ve listened to the remix as it was arranged, perhaps you can listen to it at 1.25x to gain a better appreciation for the track had the BPM hewed closer to the original from the game and the pace of the level overall.
I just explained to you it is not the same. Virtous simply decided to arrange it in a BPM I find inferior to the original, and that was his creative choice. I already said I enjoy his other pieces pretty well. Speeding up the video does nothing to improve that. The song is best listened to at the BPM it was arranged it. I would've preferred it to be arranged in a different BPM. I'm not even that pressed about this issue, I'm just more tired of the idea that speeding up a song like that is a surefire method to hear it at any BPM you want. It isn't and it sounds like crap most of the time.
