I don't know how got on your channel. Anyhow, great content, very articulate and well spoken for someone so young. You will make a great officer, positive outlook, you take the challenges well and accept failure (rare from folks your age these days). advice from me (over 20 years service), be humble, but don't allow disrespect, cut that fast, especially as you will leading men, some of whom haven't accepted that females (and of colour) can be their leader or supervisor or simply are just rude! That is a cold hard fact, now don't get a complex, which just seeing how you are, you won't have that problem. Again, great content, keep it up and good luck in your subsequent training and future learning. Keep that positive attitude and be safe out there.
I got to do the range and gas hut this past weekend. Weekend 10. Super fun, but then people got sloppy the next day and we got jacked up a bunch of times :$. This weekend is out FTX, almost through :$
How long are you allowed to shower i have really really really long long hair and are you allow to bring hair dryers and electronic toothbrush or razors?

@@KyraNankivell yeah, id like to say it wasent too bad but a 20km ruck (accumulated) and range out in the cold was pretty ruthless lol but we're on standdown now because of the current pandemic. Only FTX to go. GoodLuck Pte.

Hey I finish my 4 years at RMC (Royal Military College) very soon but I dont know what to do or where to go when i graduate I was wondering if you know what I have to do next?

Young woman, smart and healthy habit, she doesn’t know what it is a virus. I am much more afraid of her eye bags. Don’t make sleep deprivation to perform, I have met much more dead people than alive, many nightmares, so it is important to appreciate present instead of future projects.
Can one take the aptitude test online? At the moment I am not in Canada and may not be till next year 2021. I can't wait to be part of the Canadian Army.

what happen to the 5 other weeks kyra?? im in the process of joining the reg forces and u are a huge motivator for me and my interest. ur vids help tremendously not only for the knowledge but also to mentally prepare myself for what’s to come. please continue to upload the rest of the bmq experience..i kno it’s been som time but i would love to watch the rest of ur experience
Hey DT! Thanks for the kind words :) There are no other weekends because my BMOQ was paused due to COVID after the 7th weekend. It resumed in the summer as a 10 day (mostly field) course to wrap up. I didn't make a video after graduating from that course because I was navigating the CAF social media rules at the time. So unfortunately, there aren't any other videos but it was a great course!!
i swear the CAF social media rules r such a drag, that’s prob y numbers are down and trades are being short of personnel. it’s ppl lik u who made me even want to join and one of the main reasons i followed through (watching ur cfat videos, why you joined etc).. but thanks for ur response. i just got on the competitions list two days ago, just want to say if you can, continue ur videos, maybe how life is after u served for 2-3years now? because it’s ppl lik you that make normal ppl who are interested actually join by going through the tedious process and follow through. thanks for replying and hope to see more vids from u.

Is it prohibited to have a tactical pen 🖊 and paper for basic training, bmq? I write a lot of notes.
Ofc you’re allowed a pen and paper! We were taught we should always have pen & paper on us
