John deere 325,335,345 best damn mower ive ever used or owned...i now have 3 of them...For cutting grass, id never use anything else if i have a choice
I will be referencing this series a lot over the next couple weeks! Thank you.
Nice chain fall tip as a bonus to a good video.
Thanks Vernon!
Great job, another 10 years was added to the life of the tractor .
I sure hope so, thanks for watching Chris!
My John Deere 135 needs a drive belt change but I don't have the equipment you have. Dealer wants $260 to replace it, lol. You do great work! 👍👍👍
That seems steep for a belt... Kevlar belts run $45 here in Canada usually and it's usually like an hour or less to change them. Honestly it all depends on the machine thought.
I'm a big fan of Stens belts.
Good video.
More JD tractor videos please.
Love STENS belts! Kevlar "True Blue" belts are usually less money than regular OEM belts!
Stens now warranties the TrueBlue belts for 2 years just too bad they only make them in whole inches. Another good video providing lots of information.
Thanks for watching!
Truth is I use them all the time and just don’t add the 1/2 inch
@@philliphall5198 I understand that will work but the auger drive belt normally is raw edged for more bite and cogged will increase that even more.
This belt replacement is pretty easy...once you take the rear sheet metal off which is pretty easy. It can be done with the mower deck in place. I appreciate that you got the job done, but any R & R job that requires bending things out of the way indicates it probably not the manner the manufacturer intended.
You did a lot of good work there ! Great channel !
Thanks for watching Andrew!
She's a big job hi Kiaora from new Zealand just fiiting a idler pulley and rod to idle leaver or tension rod and tension spring, I've used a Kevlar drive belt on a 38 J.deere Gxs
Great job Jake !
Thanks Minouchat!
Love the quality of your videos.
Two things:1... Did I see a cheap eBay gas filter, beware they aren't sealed at the top and will let dirt by....take one apart.
2: I learned the hard way to replace all the pulleys when I change the drive belt....then no come backs if one fails.. D,LA,E series JD ,both pulleys I sell for 27$ that I get from Stens. No worth not replacing...just my 2cents.
Keep it up.
Thanks Bill! And to answer your questions, no that was a STENS fuel filter!
And also, the other pulley's seemed to be ok during inspection, I realize that replacing will prevent issues.
But it's a hard sell when it's someone else's!
If it were mine, I would've replaced them forsure!
@@EliminatorPerformance Yup I get it. I just price it all in the quote as a package....it's for their own good... Lol....I can't stand come backs or working for free.
@@EliminatorPerformance Stens has been out of stock on those fuel filters for quite a while now, you're lucky you got some. Have you tried their stabilizer?
@@billlovett4256 I ordered 2x 25 shop bags so I have 50 of them lol
And no, we stick with K100S+ highly recommend it!
I got jd gx325 my pto only works on forward not reversed ? What is the problem ? Ty

I got questions i got gx325 jd where is the rio position ?

Good day Nice video. Good idea on bolt on chain hoist, & that attachment to put on pressure washer for eve troughs. Perma-seal nickel anti-seize Thanks
Permatex Nickel anti-seize, and thanks for watching Don!
Yep got one of the hooked gutter washer extendable type
I just did that with my 325 and it is not a easy job!!!
Thanks for watching!
Good video! Did your customer want the trans fan replaced?
Thanks, and no. I mentioned it, and he seems to think it's always been like that since he bought it!
@@EliminatorPerformance Maybe we will see a trans rebuild due to inadequate cooling in the future lol. He should have got a new blade for sure! Keep up the great videos! I like you chainfall too!! Great idea!!
Last time a changed a fan on a LT155 it was 11$ from John Deere!!! LoL. People are stupid.
Looks like step 1 was missed in this series... Pressure washing.
i need some advise. i am trying to replace this same belt but im having a hard time getting it on. its the right part number, M118048. I started on the fan pulley and had it wrapped around the way it should but i dont have enough slack to get it over the pulley above the clutch. do you have any advice or trick to get it over? everything i look up online from john deere and my local lawn repair company says that its the correct part so it should be right.. i havent mowed my lawn in 3 weeks.....
Choppy broken lingo tech...lol
Cheap beats just don’t last and when they bring them I tell them that and I’m not replacing it again free eather
What a greasy mess. Not in my garage
