I remember during her blind auditions , when she said her mom was a three time breast cancer survivor and that she was afraid her mom would not live to see her dream come true " I'm doing this for my mom " I can't imagine what her mom must be going through right now. I literally just heard about her death 5mins ago i just can't believe it! I loved her so much and was just over the moon when she auditioned for The Voice. It's so shocking and i hold such hatred for psycho people who can willingly kill someone i just don't know how someone can have that in them. Such a beautiful soul and my whole heart goes out to her family and friends.

Honestly, I'm just as sad about Christina's passing as I would be if it were one of my family members. I've been following her for years, and I felt like I knew her. I loved watching her career grow, and to have such an amazing, wonderful, beautiful person like her taken from the world at such a young age is an enormous tragedy, and I just can't get over it. Rest in piece Christina, I'll never forget you ❤️❤️❤️

My brain knows she's dead, but my heart won't believe it.
This one really hit hard. I'm now 30 and remember growing up listening to her. And not only that, but also feeling connected to her. I'm an OG male beauty YTer but she predates me. That truly was the golden years of RUclips.
We will never ever have another Christina Grimmie on this platform. She was one of a kind, a true force, and still to this day had probably the fastest chair turn in The Voice history.
Life is short enough, why can't we just all enjoy the time we're here. I know that some people have actual mental conditions. But what about everyone else? I mean, look at RUclips comments. Majority of it is just hateful. Why?? We are lucky to be alive. Please let's make a change. Yes I totally agree. Less than a day after her shooting, disgusting RUclipsrs were already typing insensitive and crass shit about thanking the gunman for shooting Christina Grimmie. Even if one may not appreciate her music, it doesn't mean he should be this utterly inhumane! Plenty of such people on social media these days.

I really didn't know much about her. I don't watch the voice that often, but I had seen a couple of her performances here on youtube. The first time I heard about this and saw on the media, I thought, "This must be a dream." The very next day I checked the media again and could not believe Christian was actually gone. I remember freshman year in high school I heard her cover of Just a Dream by nelly. It was a big inspiration for me to want to continue singing. It made me want to be better. Her voice was the reason we did the song we did in my group for a concert. I will miss her so much and her voice and her personality touched my heart
