    Thanks for sharing, Zac! I have to admit that, even though hammering-out the old crossmember can be a real pain after the cross-bar/stabilizer has been welded to the frame rails, I'd never considered just cutting to old one in half! THAT'S why I follow you! Enjoy your weekend! Be safe!

    Plug welding the cross member instead of rivots will take some of the flex out of the frame that it was designed to have

      Great point Steve! When we boxed the frame we also welded the rear crossmember on, it wasn’t on camera but definitely something we should’ve talked about here

    Are you going to have to not to cider the frame rails for the spring ?

    Quick question I ordered my cross member but it’s for a boxed frame. It’s to short to weld to the frame. I saw yours has the two holes on each side. I don’t think they sell that anymore. Do you have a part number by any chance to make sure I order the right one ? Thank you

    Couldn’t you just use grade 8 bolts and bolt it in?

      I guess technically you could, but it would look really out of place because I’ve never seen someone do it before, also I would personally consider welds to be safer
