Lewis Kristian Marnell was and forever will be my favorite Volcom team member. I’m so glad I had the privilege to meet him in 2009 b4 he past in 2013. He was my favorite skater and was such a genuine person. Had such a huge impact on me as a teenager back then and now. RIP Lewis….

Another killer video! I have watched so many of your videos I can't remember if y'all have ever done anything with skate punk bands. There is so much music influence with skateboarding and their band decks. It would be cool to see some of the old school and new school punk bands what they do/have done for skateboarding. My homie John worked with Remy on the production of the early Volcom look books. Basically everything was photocopied. I'm so glad they grab Louie when they did. Good eye Remy!!

Great Job! Volcom Videos existed before Freedom Wig "The Garden" is a Snwoboard video including skateboarding with Chet Thomas.
Volcom also signed The Fudge Dealers, Daylight Hoppers, The Kruze Kontrollers, and last but not least RokBottom.

My brother told me this back in the late 90s and I'm not 100% sure it's true but Volcom made different colored Volcom Stone stickers and pro skaters, snowboarders, and surfers got different ones. You jogged that memory when you said only pros got stickers at first. My brother ended up having a bunch of different colored ones bootlegged and we stuck them on literally everything back then because we liked the brand so much. Like I remember having about 50 of these red and white and black and yellow ones. Wish I still had some those old clothes we had because they would still be pretty rad today.

@@ShredzShop it was gnarly 🤙🏽 so much nostalgia when I was a teen working at a skate and surf shop in New Zealand and this courier came in with a few huge boxes of clothing it was Volcom gear in these parts I was so stoked to put on the clothing racks. 😅🤣 now almost 40 think great times in the once beloved surf and skateshop that no longer exists today.
