Do we have to mention dual intent? Its so confusing.
@@elizabathgeorge947 submitted almost 2 weeks ago again, provided letter from her work that she had an approved leave and we only applied for 2 weeks, let's see what happens
Hello everyone that asked, today we got the approval letter. The first application was refused and took only 2 weeks. The second one was sent on October 3rd and today Oct 25th we got the approval message. I sent my payslips from May to now, we have AOR, biometrics and Medicals are completed. The first one was an application for her to come from December to late March. I think I sent the wrong invitation letter with different dates, the reason for refusal was "visiting dates are not consistent with the application". For this second approved application we asked for a 3 weeks visit for Christmas only. I made sure the dates on my invitation letter and the online application were the same, we also sent a document stating that she has an approved leave from work for those same dates. We are lucky that this letter is given automatically when requested in the system, no need to actually have an approved leave on our case, but I can't say if this helped a lot or not. I think it's a matter of taking the time to do a good application, a very credible and realistic length of visit and a good invitation letter with only the needed information. Also, we didn't mention dual intent. We only mentioned that we have applied for a sponsorship and gave the File number and UCI number. Hope it helps and I really wish God, luck, the universe, whatever you believe in, will touch the officer's heart so you can be reunited because it's hell living far from your spouse.

hi, big thanks for all your detailed videos. SUPER HELPFUL... question with the new policy. open work permit for Spousal out of Canada sponsorship. If the principal applicant is American so he can enter anytime to Canada, how can he apply in this case since he does not need a visa.
thank you so much for your help here. i was wondering if anyone has any insight on my case here. I'm a about to submit my application for family class from the US. Do US citizens need apply for anything to prove VALID TRV status to live Canada, how long do you need to live there before applying for open work permit, and how long does that permit take? i just want to make sure i have enough money to not be able to work, If anyone has any insight id appreciate it.
Hi brother..... thank you for the videos... great effort. I just want to mention that trv application is not through gc key account. It is another online portal account right? I did like that. But open work permits through the gc key. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you 👍
@@HitSubmitCanada okay brother...Now I'm going to apply for an open work permit under inland sponsorship. I have some doubts...my visit visa expires on September 12th. Should I need to apply for an extension? Or just to apply for the open work permit ?
Hey Man thanks a lot for the content they are really helpful!! I just have one question, if my spouse and I start an outland spouse sponsorship application, and she then comes into Canada later with a visitor visa( she already has that right now) and applies for the open work permit while waiting for the sponsorship application according to this new policy, can she leave Canada during the waiting time of the open work permit since she is an outland principle applicant?
it will be risky to leave canada with an open work permit application pending. She can either not apply for open work permit and leave or wait to get open work permit then leave. but leaving while opw is pending is not recommended unless its an emergency or a super short trip
Hi Suyash, I wanted to ask you a question pertaining to the eligibility of sponsor. If present person was married previously and dependent in the PR application and divorced later. Is he eligible to sponsor his new spouse since he neither sponsored person or sponsor in the previous PR application?
I watched your videos about the spousal sponsorship and thank you. My spouse's PR application is on process now. In connection with that I do have a question, he applied for ETA and got approved. Is it alright for him to fly now in Canada even though his PR application is still on process? He just had the biometrics and still waiting for the medical request. Thank you.
Hi, Thanks for your amazing videos. I've had TRVs since 2020 and I am on my second one which expires in 2025. I have submitted the spousal PR application outland and I want to take advantage of the new policy and get an open work permit. Can I apply for the open work permit while I am not physically present in Canada given that I have a TRV or should I wait to apply in December when I visit. I have filled the forms and followed the guidance and nothing suggest that I have to be physically present in canaada. it seems to me as so long I have a TRV I can apply, but I wanted to know what you think since you did not touch on this directly.
I read that a TRV is not valid proof of temporary resident status. They ask for a visitor record, temporary resident permit (which isn't the same thing). I didn't get a visitor record when I arrived. Are you able to clarify this? Do I need to apply for a visitor record first?
Hi Suyash, my spouse is a Canadian citizen and very well employed in Canada. I have applied for Spousal PR as outland applicant. As PR application would take time to process, i will travel on Visitor visa. My question is will i be able to apply for open work permit in Canada through Flag poling?
Thank you so much I watched your videos when filling out my spouse sponsorship paperwork. We just received our aor! I had a question im from the usa do you know how I would prove my temporary residency? Thank you again.
Is that possible to do a bridging open work permit if the work permit of my spouse is expiring next month. She already applied for PR under spouse and common in law category.
Great video, but, i have a question please : what if i receive my COPR (from my outland application) while i'm in canada, should i return to my coutry to get ir or can i get it in canada ? thank you

Hi Suyash! Your videos are really great and helpful! our spousal application is on process( still waiting for AOR). Planning to apply for ETA after getting the AOR then open work permit when my principal applicant lands in canada. Question: when principal applicant is already in canada.. can the PA do the medical and biometrics(from the spousal application) in canada? Or does the PA need to go to home country and do it there? Thank you
Thanks, the videos help alot. I have filed for spousal sponsorship and we already received the AOR with the note that I can now apply for open work permit. Do I apply for open work permit or wait for COPR? I was advice to wait for the COPR as IRCC timeline on processing is more faster compared before. But I dont want to wait for another 3 months if I can get a open work permit in 1-2 months in order to help my spouse to work and already help with the bills. Please need your help if you know by any chance, is it faster to apply for open work permit or shall I wait for the COPR?

Last week I got the mail from immigration with refusal of OWP. Reason being that "PR is being processed overseas so I'm not eligible for an OWP under the sponsored spouse program".
if the principle applicant does not require a visitor visa to come to Canada as the passport holder is from a country where visitor to Canada is automatically given a 3-month travel visa, how do I declare that when filling the OWP application form? Does it still require to fill in a form?

Hope it helps and I really wish God, luck, the universe, whatever you believe in, will touch the officer's heart so you can be reunited because it's hell living far from your spouse.
@@feoysabroso your message touched my heart bro. Wonderful very congratulations to you 😇
Please can you help me. I got my AOR.
For TVR i can show my job profile and approval letter.
But still my agent is not sure she is telling me. she has applied for some people and mostly got their refusals. I'm very confused if they have passed a law then why aren't they providing it as stated. It's very confusing what the actual scenario.

What is TRV?
Hey, I just wanted to say: travel history is neutral at best. According to several court cases. But I guess having travelled to these countries can help. but no travel history cannot be a ground for refusal.
Does it applies if spouse is on the study visa
hi, big thanks for all your detailed videos. SUPER HELPFUL... question with the new policy. open work permit for Spousal out of Canada sponsorship. If the principal applicant is American so he can enter anytime to Canada, how can he apply in this case since he does not need a visa.
All he needs to do is wait for AOR from the sponsorship application. Once he has AOR, he can submit the Open Work Permit application online
Can I renew my passport after submitting the TVR and take new visa on new passport not sent in application
thank you so much for your help here. i was wondering if anyone has any insight on my case here.
Thank you 👍
No that’s not correct.
GC key works for TRV as well as Open work permit both.
Now, you can use the New portal for TRV also.
@@HitSubmitCanada okay brother...Now I'm going to apply for an open work permit under inland sponsorship. I have some doubts...my visit visa expires on September 12th. Should I need to apply for an extension? Or just to apply for the open work permit ?
Hi, can you share the new TRV portal please?
@HitSubmitCanada Can my spouse leave Canada after applying for OWP based on the AOR? IF so, can they re-enter the country until the OWP is approved?
What did you provide in home ties?
And did you apply after AOR?
If I am a Canadian PR and I am sponsoring my wife from India, she has to use Outland or Inland application ?
Hi Suyash,
I wanted to ask you a question pertaining to the eligibility of sponsor.
Thank you.
if he has a valid ETA, he absolutely can come to Canada. Rest of the processes can be done from within Canada
Which application is faster these days? EE or Spousal Sponsorship Outland?
Hi, Thanks for your amazing videos. I've had TRVs since 2020 and I am on my second one which expires in 2025. I have submitted the spousal PR application outland and I want to take advantage of the new policy and get an open work permit. Can I apply for the open work permit while I am not physically present in Canada given that I have a TRV or should I wait to apply in December when I visit. I have filled the forms and followed the guidance and nothing suggest that I have to be physically present in canaada. it seems to me as so long I have a TRV I can apply, but I wanted to know what you think since you did not touch on this directly.
couldnt sign up in gckey canada? error page in the end.
For US citizens, TRV is not required
Is that possible to do a bridging open work permit if the work permit of my spouse is expiring next month. She already applied for PR under spouse and common in law category.
Will an eTa qualify as a "temporary resident status" in Canada for countries that don't require a visitor visa?
Have already applied but its asking me again to apply the paper again and pay fess
Do we need to print and sign IMM 5707 or can we do it in PDF itself? In the sign tab just write our name maybe
Great video, but, i have a question please : what if i receive my COPR (from my outland application) while i'm in canada, should i return to my coutry to get ir or can i get it in canada ? thank you
❤❤
Once we land in Canada with TRV then in how many days can we apply for an Open work permit?
as soon as you have AOR from your sponsorship application
Hi, thank you for information
I have pgwp and applying for trv my spouse came in canada on open workpermit and how can i apply for her trv ?
Thanks a lot for your videos. I have added my spouse's PR application to mine which is already under processing. I applied in through OINP master's stream. Can someone please tell me if I am eligible to apply for a TRV for my spouse and later apply for OWP while she is in Canada?
Thank you
Yes they can do them in canada
Thanks, the videos help alot.
I have filed for spousal sponsorship and we already received the AOR with the note that I can now apply for open work permit. Do I apply for open work permit or wait for COPR? I was advice to wait for the COPR as IRCC timeline on processing is more faster compared before. But I dont want to wait for another 3 months if I can get a open work permit in 1-2 months in order to help my spouse to work and already help with the bills.
Please need your help if you know by any chance, is it faster to apply for open work permit or shall I wait for the COPR?
How much time did it take for the AOR to come?? And was ur application inland or outland??
Hello did you apply work permit?
Yes Spousal TRV is Approved Quicker for PR Applicants. Strong account Balance we have to show atleast 10+ Lakhs needed for quicker approval.

I had applied for spousal sponsorship PR from outside Canada in April and came to Canada in June with my visitor visa. Once I got the AOR, I applied for OWP in Canada. Last week I got the mail from immigration with refusal of OWP. Reason being that "PR is being processed overseas so I'm not eligible for an OWP under the sponsored spouse program".
After how many months did immigration mail you about your work permit
How many months post applying for OWP did you get this refusal mail ?
if the principle applicant does not require a visitor visa to come to Canada as the passport holder is from a country where visitor to Canada is automatically given a 3-month travel visa, how do I declare that when filling the OWP application form? Does it still require to fill in a form?
Hi my husband lodged his application on 22 may and biometrics were on 12 june when can we expect the result??
