    Hey Suyash,
Thank you so much for such an informational video. It helped me a lot in my process for getting spousal sponsorship. My wife is already in Canada as PR.
    My question is
I moved to Australia in June 2018 and came back to India in June 2019 for engagement and also got our marriage registered (Without Indian rituals).
Had to go back to Aus after a month for completing studies. Due to covid, ritual wedding got delayed and traveled back to Ind in July 2021 and that's when we got married with Indian Rituals.
What do you think we should do for our case? Call out both the weddings? Or just the one with registered.
This is regarding form IMM 5532

Hi Suyash, thank you so much for uploading these videos. I am only midway through my application and following you has just made my life easier. I had a quick question for you. Since I am applying for spousal sponsorship via the online portal, do I still need to submit photocopies of all documents as suggested under the additional forms section? If yes, then where do I need to send these photocopies, is this a separate package?

A quick question for you... On part B point 4 of the checklist where it talks about previous relationships and says have you the sponsor previously been sponsored yourself for permanent residence ? I was dependent child when my dad sponsored my mom and I came in Canada when I was under 18 with my mom and siblings. Do I need to hit Yes for this or it only asks in terms of spouse married like situations because the heading of this point is previous relationships.. could you please guide me on this , I would highly appreciate it and keep up the good work you will get tons of blessings and prayers. THANK YOU.

Hiya, I just wanted to let you know, that the current Checklist supplied on the online portal no longer has (unfortunately) the box for an "Open Work Permit Application" (#5 - Class of Application Section) I found on the Immigration website, we now have to wait until our application is approved before we can apply. Which sucks as it also says it can take between 1-4 months to get one. 😔

I find all your videos so helpful, but theres one thing I come across where I can never find an answer! When the document checklist says " you (principal applicant) must delcare your family members whether they are accompnaying you or not. Do they just mean filling out the Additional Family Information form? Before they updated it they wanted all family members to sign as well as have their baptismal certificates which I thought was so bizarre.

    1. I have an additional sheet from the forms (e.g imm 008). Should i put it together with the form? Like put at the back of the specific form?
    2. Does it goes the ame goes with a letter of explanation for a maintained status?
    3. In every question asked in every form where they asked for current status. Should i provide a letter of explanation over and over again in every form? Or just once? Like im the imm 008 form?

Hi! Thanks for so informative videos. Just one doubt: In point 5, in Note, they ask to mail the package to an address in nova scotia. Do we need to do that even when we are doing the online application?

Hi quick question. We’re applying through online and I’m (wife) from Philippines. When we checked the document checklist philippines requires that we must submit the original copy of birth certificate and others. Do you think we need to submit the original if we are applying through online portal?

    1:31 Hi Brother,
I hope you're doing well. I want to apply for PR under my wife, as she is a Canadian PR. However, I have a few doubts I'd like to ask you about, and I hope you can help me.
First of all, I live in Canada with a work permit. In your video, should I select Canada in the field that asks where the person being sponsored currently lives? Because I've been in Canada for over 2 years, right?
For the section about other countries the person has lived in, I've lived in Poland for almost 5 years and Latvia for almost 2 years, in addition to India. I have also visited Germany and other European countries for a few days. Should I include those countries in the list as well?
Also we have a new born baby abput 2 month old. So shuld i add my abay in my application. She ia Canadian citizen.

Hey great video man! One question, In part 1 of the supporting documents for the principal applicant, the point says that if you do not have a status in Canada, please provide an explanation on a piece of paper, this would apply to many people as they are not present in Canada or have a status in Canada, in that case what should we attach a letter of explanation and what should we explain in it?
