What was it like using the m3 pro in FCP with the 4k footage? What was it like to actually edit with, scrub through the timeline, apply colour grading, etc rather than just render times?

If compared to M2 Pro then overall experience on M3 Pro chip while scrubbing through timeline, applying color grading, transitions, color correction etc…the difference were not noticeable.

i totally disagree with the cinebench scores, since when m2 pro came with 10 cores? my m2 pro gave 1029 points on multicore and 122 points on single core
