Now that its clear that this wasn't the way to go, we ask for your help: Who carries your favorite scents that also has samples available so we all can try out more well-known scents? And also, what are YOUR favorite scents that we should try?
There are a number of companies that offer subscription services too, where you can get 1-2 samples per month. I'm currently using chaos fragrances. Good service and great selection
I like to order fragrance samples online. There are many sites available that offer you up to 10ml samples without having to be a monthly subscription.
AWxInc if i may give one feedback is that alot of youtube videos nowdays are shaped around sponsorship instead of the other way round which tbh kinda degrades the video quality at least to us viewers. i get that sponsors may carry the most monetary value but at the very least be transparent with the title please. dont get me wrong, i love your vids. they're very educational and has helped me improve myself numerous times. i look forward to your next vid
These #sponsored videos are starting to become annoying just like nearly every other men’s channel that are just advertisements with short content breaks in between Please don’t be a sellout to advertisers
I'll be honest, guys- I believe you were a bit off on what we were looking for with this video topic. It's still a good video, listing key notes to good scents for particular seasons. But they're all from a Sponsor. Not from a list of well known fragrance brands that you typically select from. (D&B, Creed, Tom Ford, etc.) We wanted to see Ashley explain which of those were most attractive, and acceptable, to women for the seasons. So, respectfully, it doesn't feel like a review of "The Best Men's Fragrances Women Love" so much as an ad. Albiet, one viewer's opinion. Still a huge fan.

Some Darker/Sweeter fragrances for the Fall and Winter, my personal favorites include: "London" by Burberry (Tabacco Spice) "Cedar Cypress" by Banana Republic (Non-Aggressive Cedarwood) "Black" by Prada, Luna Rossa (Dark, yet sweeter than most) And "Oud Wood" by Tom Ford (Strong Wood and Mixed Spices)

Little disappointed all the fragrances were from a single sponsor, but I get that it makes logistical sense. There are A LOT of fragrances out there, and smell doesn’t exactly translate easily to video!! At the very least, for 16 bucks we can get a ballpark idea of what _type_ of scents work for various seasons. Nice strategy for dealing with the absence of smello-vision.

I love the channel and agree with 95% of everything you guys say, but those cheap watches and now these fragrances? I thought you were going to talk about quality stuff like you've always done, classics like Eau Sauvage, Aqua di Parma, etc. I love you guys exactly because you don’t promote the crap that you see on the other channels. I wonder if these are like dressed up BO: I mean tabacco, leather. (there was that small study showing attraction to different t-shirt body odors after all). Maybe signaling what kind of foods the man is eating & thus his health, including diffuse status potential.

Great advice ! There was a book way back Dress for Success and the author said women tend to like colognes that remind them of their Dad eg. Old Spice and English Leather. I wondered about that. The only cologne I used that women liked was Halston-12 , stumbled on it by accident. Bears repeating terrific advice !
I respect you guys grinding to make a living but as I can see all the negative feedback below goes in line with what I believe. I feel that you could have done a better job if you had also included colognes that weren't the sponsors own brand only. Otherwise this just is a commercial for F&R. . I've tried the F&R products before and wasn't super impressed but to each their own. Maybe you could find a F&R sent that you like and then also a cologne that is a traditional one that would compare to the profile that you like about it. Just a thought, great videos. You guys are so fun to watch together.
I think this is a great video. If you've ever gone to the store to buy fragrances it can be overwhelming. Your sense of smell is overwhelmed by all the other fragrances everyone else is spraying and the coffee they make you smell between each test. To test fragrances in the privacy of your own home... what an awesome idea. And guys remember these two have put out a s*** ton of videos. Ashley has put in a lot of work into their content and the E-book which is fabulous and all for free FREE! So cut them some slack buy the fragrance pack you may be pleasantly surprised. I'm ordering mine now.
Look fragrance is subjective in a way clothes are less so. Most people agree what a classic men's masculine men's style is ( what Ash and Dorian promote ) and many thanks for that, but fragrances, its more a personal thing. But so what if they are promoting F&R , someone has to sell the fragrances. And Dorian is looking better so a merry Christmas to them both and all the viewers too.

wow your viewers are rabid I wanted to check back in because I picked up a couple pairs of laces when you offered the coupon for Straight Laces. They finally arrived (I'm in Canada!) and I was able to replace the laces on both of my dress shoes! I have two pairs of Oxfords - one from Allen Edmonds and the other a Harry Rosen (IMO you should just buy your shoes online - the HR employees were like vultures and very snobby) - the only feedback I have is that the shoelaces were somewhat difficult to feed through the first hole. The product itself is a slightly elastic lace that has a t-bar on one end, and a three hole metal bar on the other end. You feed one end and pull it through to the t-bar, which holds that side of the lace in place. You then feed the other end through (straight lace style in this example) and once you get to the end, you run it through the three hole metal bar and cut off the extra laces. They don't become slip on shoes per se - you still need and should still use a shoe horn but WOW this is so much better than tucking in your laces!
I really expected a wider selection of fragrances and not just from one house. Good video tho, you guys really dissected each fragrance and pointed out key aspects to look for in a fragrance.

Back then you guys said you will try your hardest to not do sponsorship because you wanted to genuinely help people with how to dress. Then comes the sponsors which I understand cause you gotta get that money but even then you still had good points that helps people with their style. AWxInc it would be better to change the name of the video to “Ashley smells fragrances from our paid sponsor”. This video has nothing to do with fragrances women love. If so, the video would have included designer and niche fragrances generally accepted to be loved by women. RMRS recently did such a video. The list was generic and not something a frag head would get excited over.
I actually like Fulton and Roark but I’ve bought duds from them as well. I am not a fan of the things women hate or things women love etc kind of titles. They are immature to me And remind me the style RUclipsrs that I’m sort of sick of. I think having a tag team approach can really set you apart from Those channels although maybe it’s intentional? Men love that kind of approach I guess or those channels Wouldn’t be popular. Im one of those that don’t like channels that don’t leave room for individual style or ya know those hosts that are screaming at me and trying to sell me The same dull products. I already know that neutrals look great on everyone but I also want someone out there to address individual style for those of us who don’t want to look so safe.
If you’re going to feature sponsored products, at least mix them in with products that are well known and readily available. Compare them to what’s already widely known on the market so we can get a sense of how they stack up instead of schilling for them for 11 minutes. This was a horribly conceived video that just comes off as a paid advertisement through and through. It really detracts from your “brand” as a quality source for menswear knowledge. I understand everybody has a right to make a living and do so how they see fit, but I’m a bit disappointed to be honest.

I like woodsy and leather smells so I have used Polo in the green bottle and old spice which reminds me of all the men my dad hung around with.

AWxInc it would be better to change the name of the video to “Ashley smells fragrances from our paid sponsor”.
This video has nothing to do with fragrances women love. If so, the video would have included designer and niche fragrances generally accepted to be loved by women. RMRS recently did such a video. The list was generic and not something a frag head would get excited over.

Those channels although maybe it’s intentional? Men love that kind of approach I guess or those channels Wouldn’t be popular.
Im one of those that don’t like channels that don’t leave room for individual style or ya know those hosts that are screaming at me and trying to sell me The same dull products. I already know that neutrals look great on everyone but I also want someone out there to address individual style for those of us who don’t want to look so safe.

Very misleading title. Only one brand is featured. Please stop with the click bait titles.
If you’re going to feature sponsored products, at least mix them in with products that are well known and readily available. Compare them to what’s already widely known on the market so we can get a sense of how they stack up instead of schilling for them for 11 minutes. This was a horribly conceived video that just comes off as a paid advertisement through and through. It really detracts from your “brand” as a quality source for menswear knowledge. I understand everybody has a right to make a living and do so how they see fit, but I’m a bit disappointed to be honest.
