This was perfect. I love the pouch you used, and your explanations of what you include and why was very helpful. I tend to bring way too much, even if I'm just going out for the day, so I definitely picked up a few tips. The Daniel Smith palette is usually filled with a few colours when you buy it here in Canada, which is disappointing, but I have small metal palettes I can fill. I too am a big Daniel Smith fan! I've also picked up some very cheap eye shadow palettes with 18 shades that are held in shallow metal pans, contained within a lightweight plastic shell. I will empty and wash them, then refill the pans and add a piece of white plastic to the lid as a mixing area. I'm not sure how well it will stand up to regular use, but it was only $1.25 Canadian and is smaller than the palm of my hand and less than 1.25 cm in depth. I recognize those paper towels. They're so handy! The brand is Viva and I think you can get it in both the U.S. and Canada. Walmart stores often carry that brand. Thanks again. This was great. I'm now going to watch your pencil case video. 😊
Oh! Thank you so much for recommending the paper towel. I’ve been looking for that. I’ll check on it 😀. Good idea with the eye shadow palettes. It will look really sleek and handy for sure! 😀
Also Art tool kit had some very tiny collapsible water containers. See Buffy Kaughman Watercolor Pour on you tube for her six favorite Daniel Smith colors. I used those plus cobalt teal and green apatite genuine so my palette holds 8 colors. Happy Traveling and Painting!
Yeah! I’ve been seeing Art Tool kit. Although, it’s gonna be quite expensive especially for the shipping to my country. But I’m really hoping I can find a second hand here. Thanks for the reco regarding the palette :)
It's fun to watch videos of people's setups. This video is inspiring me to make a video of my travel watercolor set for my own RUclips channel
I’m glad this inspired you too. And I’m glad to find like-minded people 😊

For a great palette I suggest an Arttool kit palette. They are the size of a business card and very light. Lots of sizes in the pans..
Yeah! Been seeing that a lot. It looks cool!
No fountain pen?
Yes, apparently, I didn’t bring one for this trip ;)
Try “ Viva” paper towels, they are also like cloth, may be the same one……hope this helps, Amazon should sell it……..
Thank you for suggesting this. I got excited I can have that paper towel again. I’ve been saving it for years now, lol.
