  • Sliders get flexing during shooting when mounted on tripods? Take a look of this video shared by Mr.Nitsan Simantov, it shows you the testing way, normal scale and fixing way of the flex and how important it is to select a suitable support for sliders. From the video we can see that only one tripod is needful to support iFootage Shark Slider S1 Standard stably with less flexing. iFootage Wild Bull Tripod T5/T7, one of the ideal choices, can achieve it.

Using one monopod will only prevent flex when tracking to that side. When tracking to the non-monopod side the monopod will come off the ground unless a weight bag is attached to it. Understanding basic physics is necessary when discussing planes and inclines.

Could you recommend a good tripod for a decent price up to £200 for slider? If there is any. I’m using edelkrone slider. Cause I have trouble finding. I’m using canon 5d mk2 plus extra gear. My rig weighs up to 2.5kg. So it’s not that heavy. Thanks in advance. Btw I like your channel! Keep it up!

why don't you use something like the konova arm that supports both sides so there is no flexing
