I bought the K&F, it seems that you are supposed to mount the camera on the quick release plate horizontally, in which case you CAN see the level bubble AND the release wheel is easily accessible, at least with my mirrorless camera.
Thanks for the reviews. Nice to have this review. My only thing I want to as is why you set the release to screw from the side of camera? Usually are meant to be screwed from behind the camera which makes the tightening of the arca swiss much easier.
Filming in a rush... the plate "directs" you with markings underneath to mount that way, but you are right it would be more conventional to mount the other way!
Yeah totally agree, we regularly use all three almost daily, so they can't be all bad. But we always try our best to highlight a products bad points, just to make things balanced.

The underslung is a very underutilized mode for tripods like this. Oh and I hate the bubble levels. Even before the camera goes on, it’s hard to trust them.
Yeah I agree, and yet I rarely bother to use it. Really I should just get one of these tripods and leave it underslung, that way it will definitely get used more! But I know I won't, because I'm lazy :D
@@120fps I picked up the iFootage monopod that quick snaps the middle section out. It works great for the low angles and takes less than three seconds to change from five foot to one foot. It may be cliche to say, but it’s a game changer.

Dont know what you class as budget but £90 for a tripod is very expensive
well it's all relative.... like my friends think I'm cheap, but if I showed them this comment they'd think I'm all right.
There are a handful of tripods well over $500
So only the Manfrotto is usable, the other two are shit.
