You've never had a guest that I have been more excited to hear, Raphael. I've been an admirer of Sapna's images on Flickr for years. It does not surprise me that Adobe has approached her to collaborate. I hope you do have her back.
Normally, I only like how-to presentations with practical, technical information. However, Sapna's presentation was wonderful! I found all the information quite helpful. Her critique of images was a nice way to reinforce the information. I expect I will watch it again in the future. Perhaps more than once. Definitely have her back again, Rafael.
Sapna has an outstanding ability to translate complex photographic principles into understandable steps we can all incorporate into our photography. Whew, the best landscape tutorial I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching! Thank you.
Brilliant master class...thanks Raffa for inviting Sapna to the Pills community and to you Sapna everything you conveyed (to me at least) made 100 % sense and suggested in a way that I could understand, so thank you! I have watched many master classes and this to date trumps them all!
Exceptional discussion and advice for composition, light, and color and how they work together. I have seen more than a few live videos over the years and this is one of the very best I have had the hooro to watch. Thank you so very much Sapna and Rafael.
So deeply and systematic approach to quite wide and complicated topic, which is all about unobvious details. Many thanks for great lesson. It was great opportunity to touch the magic of landscape photography.
This was an outstanding class! Sapna breaks down the key elements in composition very succinctly. Now, I understand how to help my landscape compositions improve. I hope to take more classes with her someday. Thank you PhotoPills and Sapna!
Thank you so much Photopills for arranging this class, this lession helped me a lot to clear the miracle of landscape photography. Thank you Sapna madam.
I really enjoyed the excellent presentation of Sapna and I like her open mind to rules, composition and sharpness and learning a place first. Very interesting lessons. I love her beautiful photography of landscapes.
Thank you so much for the presentation. I am highly impressed by the landscape photos of Sapna. The presentation was very well structured. I have to take the lesson in consideration for my next sessions. Me, I have simply two comments, resp. questions: 1. The images are highly saturated, even though, they transport emotions! Are the images taken under natural light conditions, I guess, yes. However how important is the digital post processing for Sapna? Did you augment the saturation? 2. Are some images composed of more than one shot? e.g. at 19:04 (waterfall with red leaves at the right bottom). The air close to a waterfall is normally in permanent movement. The waterfall is taken as a long exposure image, surprisingly the red leaves are quite sharp. I guess, this is impossible by taking the image in only one shot, isn`t it?
Hi Juergen, Sapna uses editing to enhance the message. If required she blends different photos. Editing is a key part on her workflow to create her images.
If you are talking about the waterfall from Indonesia then that is a single shot. The EXIF for all of my images is available on Flickr. As for the colors they may not be represented in true character depending on the resolution/color calibration of the monitor they are being displayed on. I watched this on my big screen TV and the colors appear far more saturated than on my desktop.( which is color calibrated).
@@sapnareddy6786 Dear Sapna, thank you very much for your answer and good chances for your next projects. By the way, my monitor is well calibrated, sure. However, may be the visual senses are different. Does not matter, the saturation emphasizes the emotions ... it is ok. Good luck!
😂 This is what happens when you throw a presentation together at 2 am after just having finished 5 workshops and having worked without a day off for 8 weeks. How embarrassing!
@corina Gul yes. Baroque diagonal by definition goes from bottom left to top right. The Sinister diagonal goes from top left to bottom right. The arrangement of visual elements along these diagonals strengthens the composition and which diagonal you choose can influence the overall feeling/energy of the image.

Excellent!
Thank you Michael!
Nice presentation. Could also show what doesn’t work so we can compare, e.. the waterfall shot with red foliage at 20:40.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Thank you. Hopefully when I come back we can delve into more details including post processing.
Great show ! Love the images Sapna creates. The spelling of composition could’ve been better though … 😃
Thanks so much Sandeep!

Thank you!
Is the diagonal line (baroque line?) always sloping upward from left to right?
It depends on the scene and what you want to transmit!
@corina Gul yes.

lástima que no permita ver la traducción
Hola Luis! No llegamos a todo :)
No creo que sea tan complicado activar los subtítulos automáticos🤔
We should really have this translated. Am so ashamed I do not speak Spanish. I really should especially living in California.
