I have the 86 base model 17. It didn't even come with the wiring. So you have to get that plus the relay switches. Two of them and the wiring which I got on eBay for 136 $. It came with a switch, it's nicer, but you will have to cut a square hole or buy the actual switch plate for about $14. I bought it. Save myself some time and looks better. Will let you know in one week how it came out. I am taking it to an electrician. Don't want to fry my computer.
Update the video you guys made a new fog light kit and the new one is nothing like the old one when it came to hooking up the wires

My order came with different connection than your video show. The fog light has brackets for 4 holes which does not lines up with the 3 holes on the car. Also my order came with red and yellow wires that attached to the fog lights and I have no idea where the other end goes (attach to what). Again your video does not show. How about a wiring diagram. I am still waiting for you respond.
What happens if I made the drill hole a little big by accident, is there a way I can make the switch stay in place without being too loose
Some type of glue or adhesive would probably have to be used depending on how much bigger you made the hole.
Bought the kit and I got more than what it says on the video and at their website. My problem is it didn't look easy as it shown. First, is not really plug and play. It came with the module/ballast and a harness connectors and some clips. The ballast/module has 3 wires. A wire that connects to the fog light, a wire that needs a clip to connect to the factory harness and a wire that goes to the headlight? (Not sure if that where it goes) now I don't know or not sure what to do with extra wire of the module. Do I tap it to my headlights if so how? Since there a lot of wires coming through the headlights or do I just leave it? I don't know..
Second is I have another wire that I assume it goes to battery and a ground wire but attach to it there is another wire that I don't know and not too sure to do to it.
Third the switches. In this video he has a harness wire that connects to the fog light switch and he said "we only need to use the two wires etc.." in short tap the 2 wires but in my kit I didn't get that harness, though I can connect the factory harness straight to the switch but again not too sure how's that gonna work to everything when it's all set and done.
Conclusion, this video is not what it seems as it says "easy". It's not for amateurs like me that could figure it out alone. A professional help is needed when buying this kit. While pros about this product is you get more what is shown in the video.

You can add a yellow Lamin-X cover on these fogs to give that yellow look.

I don't get how the wiring to the switch goes what are the blue clamps do they splice the wires. Is it all just plunging in or do I tap into wires I want to learn all about these before I order them soon just because I want to install them myself...thanks
those blue clamps are actually called scotch locks...and yes when you squeeze them together it splices into the wires ( tap) i'm going to order this kit..looks fairly easy to do

yes they do. It only depends if it is before the 2018 upgrade or after.

If you are talking about before the 2018 model, you can get it from Ebay or Toyota/Subaru etc. If it is 2018 or after, you just need to replace the stalk, have a quick read of my post on the upgrade.
Do you guys work directly with toyota? If not you should include videos of the BRZ as well
Tino Ortega they got a hold of a 2017 86 first, I'm sure once they get a new brz, they'll do brz specific videos too
We have a BRZ as well but the cars are so much the same we use the FRS / 86 more often. BRZ really only has a couple differences.
I am pretty sure the lamps on the brz are different sizes than the frs @@FTspeed

We have complete fog light kits for cars that did not come with fogs as an option. But we also have numerous fog light upgrade options.

Can I run the daytime running light on with fog lights? Or do the fog lights only work when the headlights are on?
I think diode dynamics has a wiring harness that allows for that
daytime running lights and fog lights are seperate...you can turn the fog lights off and on via the switch. you can also wire to the fuse box at the 12volt plugin so your halos will come on when the ignition is turned on

No. The Fog Lights will be disabled once the high beams are turned on.
