I rarely go to in-person games but love these. I would love Silk Red with my eyeball and name on one.
What a great device! The turquoise one looks fantastic. I just moved and wasn’t able to take all of my dice and dice accessories with me, so the ones I have are being stored in a cardboard box lol. This looks super convenient and practical.

I'd do the red repository and then do some black paint on the icon since I'm very partial to the D&D logo. I'm really glad you asked them if acrylic paint was safe to use!

Those are looking good, the gold wood color seems right up my alley. At the moment I keep my dice in home made dice boxes that i have made on a lathe. I do however have too many dice sets compared to cups, so i sure could use a bit more storage, as a lot of my dice are just laying loose on my gaming table. I remember when I first started playing dnd, me and my group of 8 barely had any dice, so I promised that I would make a dice box on the lathe for anyone who bought a dice set. I feel like I may be at fault for turning them into "dice-goblins"!
Galaxy Black. As a DM the repository looks small enough to sit behind my screen. I think black will make any paints you put on it pop.

Silk Green would go with my new character of Druid. He hates going into the cities.
I made a dice box/tower from wood several years ago in galaxy black, so I think if I had to choose I'd have to go with a new color like gold. What a well put together product with the magnets and everything!

They all look amazing, but the classic Galaxy Black fits perfectly with other terrain and is fairly easy to paint/customize
Idk if I'm even eligible since I was a winner of the Puzzle book recently. If I were to win, I'd definitely choose the Galaxy Black. It looks very slick and would be easy to incorporate into any setting. Black is simultaneously inconspicuous and menacing, while also complementing essentially any dice set.

Just like in trading card games you can never have enough accessories. Silk purple looks amazing.
Marble, purple and the blues look amazing. But so I stop getting everything the same color I think I'd go with marble

It was a tough choice. Personal comments below. (Yes I thought way too much about it). I really like the portability and size of this, great for travel.
Purple is a close second.
Silver looks great for painting.
Galaxy Black looks pro, but it would blend into our table too much.
Glow in the dark looks fun, but we don't have the blacklights to make it pop.
Rose & Gold Wood look good. Does the plastic support sanding? The texture of the plastic catches light & and in my imagination it would feel better sanded down. But I wouldn't want to lose the shine of the plastic.
Marble looks like the best match in my brain to the texture of the plastic.
Yeah the plastic sands well! We print with PLA and there are plenty of tutorials from prop makers that use 3D printers on good technique. If you're worried about the layer lines, I can recommend either of the wood fills, they feel amazing, smell amazing, and are matte so the layer lines are harder to see.
@@theplasticdragon9528 you mean the Gold Wood & Rose Wood actually have wood fill? I will need to Googlesmart my self on this.
@@soultron4238 Yeah! Some wood fills do actually have wood particles in them. I believe the ones we use do, at the very least the smell and feel like it. We had a batch order of rosewood repositories come through one time and the print farm had never smelled better. xD

Liking the magnetics.. Storage would be fine from the looks of it for player but running the table I like to have 6 full sets and 36 d6 as a general minimum. But then again I am a dice Goblin...

haha I know how you feel. We're all dice goblins here, I still carry a dice bag with me on top of my repository. Nothing beats the feeling/sound of rolling a fireball through the tower.

Not a puzzle video, but I suppose it's sort of a puzzle box.
Tough call on the best warm color option, but I think Silk Orange edges out the Bronze (considering it's a plastic color for plastic instead of metallic on plastic).
Not a puzzle box here, but we do plan on designing and and selling several 3D printed puzzle boxes of different difficulty levels geared toward D&D. I talked to Wally and he may end up having a hand in the design process. Keep an eye out!

Haha, I have it set up still and every once in a while just stop by to chug some dice into it. lol!
I prefer using role 4 initiative dice, which are 20% larger. If this tower can handle these dice, I would be very interested in this dice tray

That tower kit looks really cool, but I wish it was injection mold instead of 3D printed. I just can’t stand the layering on 3D printed stuff.

Agree. I might consider those prices for wood with a nice finish, but not plastic.
Hey there, sorry the prices are too high! We feel we priced them competitively since wood products with similar functionality are in the $150-300 range (e.g. Wyrmwood). We do have sales from time to time and perhaps you can catch them for cheaper!

It certainly looks like a great product, I just do not have a need for it so much as to throw $90 at it. The customization option is great, but the price just is not an acceptable expense for something that I only like and do not need. I appologize if my comment came off as judgemental or degrading.

As a consumer, I am more likely to buy a dice tower as a gift for someone else and so that means I would be looking in the range of $30-$50 depending on my perceived value of the end product. If you were to develop a dice tower product in that price range I could certainly see myself being a future customer.

Hey hey! You absolutely can get different parts in different colors! The customized version of the item on the site lets you make virtually any requests you like within reason. We're happy to mix and match parts, add text/designs, resize to fit odd/oversize dice. Someone requested a dragon that sat on top of the dower baked into the model, and we did it!

This makes me sad, because it means people think this is normal. Ringing artifacts, sloppy z seams, and visible over extrusion. And they have the balls to charge $50 and up for that.
And let's talk about that "and up". An extra $10 gets you silk filament that costs the same and is actually easier to work with. For an extra $100 they will print it with a color gradient filament, which again does not cost more.
Save yourself a lot of money, download the exact same design from thangs or my mini factory, and send it to a print service. You will get a higher quality result for half the cost. Or better yet, for the cost of their "one shot specials" buy a printer and a spool of color gradient pla, and make a half-dozen of these to give to your friends.
I hate the sound of 3D print plastic, makes my skin crawl.
