- Lovely melodic vocals on this acetate recording from 1966.
Band is from Fairview Park/Parma, Ohio 1963-68
The fall of '66 finally provided the first Tree Stumps recording. Backed by their manager Vance Johns (Courtney's father) they recorded two of Ron Jankowski's songs, "Listen to Love" and "Jennie Lee" at Cleveland Recording. "Listen to Love" was intended as the A-side and while it's a really good pop song, the B-side "Jennie Lee" ended up getting more airplay and collector recognition. The record was issued with a one-sided picture sleeve and sold out the 1000 copy pressing, and a second pressing without the sleeve. The record's 'number', 20013, was the street number for the Johns household on Lake Road in Rocky River. Видеоклипы
This reminds me a bit of Love. Great band name.
Great song!
Exactly excellent ❤
Funny how music is classic and yet changing all the time! I love it.🥰
Far Out man! been waiting to hear more from them I always had a suspicion there was more, these guys were from my neck of the woods, love Parma bands!
Thank you appaloosa1. This is just so nice, in every way....
Awesome song
I love 60s music
Sadly never heard of them before but I really love this 😁
@@dylandid50 Yes. Such a shame it was never given a proper release as a single.
Wow good looken group and good looken sound
Awsome!
well done :-)
It is just such a perfect melody! Incredible piece of song writing performed by really good musicians.
Almost didn't play this because the group name came off a bit pseudo retro fakery to me, but this is a genuine gem! Thank you!! 😊
Thanks. None of my posts are or ever will be A.I. or faked. All genuine original recordings. No remixing.
Somber vocals. No fuzz/wah psych guitar. The organ is what gives it the psych appeal. Cool keys/organ break.
Celestial garage psych.
Nice one, p.k. Ty
Yes, a completley different mood here. A grower.
not bad at all. farfisa organ?
REALLY like this. Has it ever been commercially released?
Not to my knowledge. There is only one known Acetate that this gem originates from, many thanks to the provider of that one.
@@user-ci3gu1xj5n Bummer. Thanks for the reply!
I can imagine John Lennon's voice doing this one, too. Nice
