What a personable man he is. So polite, and so eloquent. His portrayal of Tommy Lee Royce has been nothing short of phenomenal. I have hung onto every scene, every line, like an addict! This drama is up there with the very best that Britain has to offer in terms of writing: the fantastically talented Sally Wainwright; the acting: I mean, where do I start? Sarah Lancashire was born to play that role and has commanded our attention from the get-go with her tough, no-nonsense portrayal of a police officer with a heartbreaking story to tell. Every actor involved in this series can, and should, feel immensely proud of what they have achieved. It's been one hell of a ride!!❤️
Even though he looks exactly as Tommy does in the show, when he speaks in real life it's like he is a completely different person! That's what I call good acting!
@@wickedwitchoftheeast88 the reason his northern accent is so good is that although he was born in London he was actually brought up in North Yorkshire. He is an extremely talented actor though and played the part of Tommy unbelievably well!

James Norton played his role as Tommy with total professionalism and convinced all who watched this seriously amazing programme that he WAS Tommy! and that was from a previous series acting as a vicar!
Beautiful, and, as someone from Halifax, his accent is Sooo authentic. Most people ham up the Yorkshire too much but he absolutely nails it. Pretty hot for a posh boy 😂

Absolutely THE very best of British Drama, every character play their part immpecably, everyone who had anything to do with it are amazing, every nuance is so believeable, the make-up, the hair, the clothes, the settings. etc. etc. and Sally Wainwrite is a genius!!! Tommy is so scared, Catherine such a Hero. I could write a thesis on it. British Drama at it's unsurpassible best.
There's something almost unnerving about the difference between himself and the character he portrays in HV. Like worlds apart, which shows how capable he is, and also says a lot about how much he can switch it on and off, like a psychopath can. Lol. He was well cast!

Excellent cast excellent acting, very believable relatable characters. James Norton is also nice on the eyes but what a fantastic show in general, that really makes you think too!
I don't want to know what happens, but I just want to be reassured that Catherine does not die, that's my big fear. Tommy Royce is just terrifying, and I cannot watch Norton in anything else, notwithstanding he has a degree in theology in real life.

Watch the fucking show and you'll realise that she is SO MUCH MORE than that! She's a complex yet strong incredible character, brilliantly cast which you would see if you just have the show a chance!

It’s a good drama but the audio is terrible. Can’t understand what they are saying, too much mumbling. Employ a decent sound crew for future productions.

He's up there with the top actors, not many ive seen that can act extreem different characters in different dramas so professionally.
He's a brilliant actor playing so many different characters over the years. 😊
