Rename it middle floor not penthouse, world is bought these days pay the cash and they will say anything especially if they trying to sell it (on the market) fml
To me any investment in a property with the ceiling lower than 9 feet makes no sense at all, but the designer did an incredible job to resuscitate this place. One of those rare cases where it's not for a sake of the "design".
my thoughts exactly! these 60s-70s-80s apartment buildings love their low ceilings but the incredible views and removal of all molding, drop ceilings, etc really opened it up. You don't feel at all like you stepped into a 1970s building.
Madeleine Blanchfield’s work is always so inspiring, and this penthouse beautifully captures her thoughtful approach and timeless design. We’re glad you enjoyed it!
This is absolutely true. If you watch a lot of American design and build videos, you realise their design thesis is utter garbage 98% of the time. Australian architects are world leading.
When Madeline said ... the most beautiful thing about this apartment ... I thought ... The most beautiful thing about this apartment is you (Madeline).

As always, cinematography is really in its own class. It's definitely something you dont find often on youtube. Thanks for this creation.
Agreed
We're so glad to hear you enjoyed it!
these videos are always so inspiring, aspirational, and ultimately depressing. Thank you local project this is fantastically well filmed content!
Yes the ultimate depression I can relate to this ... Being never be able to build purchase such house ... 😂😂😂
not only the fact being unable to afford these houses, it is the vibe of typical nonchalant wealth daubed in their cinematography
so melancholic but peaceful
How is this a penthouse on the 11th floor, if the building has 21 floors?
Right. It's obviously a great apartment, but not a penthouse. 😄
In Australia, the 11th floor is considered a penthouse.
@@brandonm1726 Penthouse is always the top floor or two-three floors if they belong to the same unit, but not in the middle.
@@aammssaammAs he stated, in Australia things work kinda differently

I am usually not a minimalist somebody but they beat my distaste to something that's so sweet and alive 😊❤
Every time I come across Madeleine Blanchfield’s work it’s always so considered and beautiful. This apartment is absolutely gorgeous 😍

The view is amazing!!!
Always wondered about the ROI of doing up an apartment for sale…since taste is personal & nuanced
especially, considering some risky choices like travertine tiled floors...
Breathtaking!
Wow…just amazing ❤
Im mesmerized by her voice 😊
Well done 👌🏾
Aussie design is unparalleled. World class. Congratulations to the architects on such an outstanding result.

Since it’s in the market for Sale … what would be the asking price ?
$19M

Are the chairs comfortable to sit on? They look rigid.
What a view
Unparalleled!
How much is it?
unaffordable
The best apartment on the planet! Loved this!
no way
When Madeline said ... the most beautiful thing about this apartment ... I thought ... The most beautiful thing about this apartment is you (Madeline).
Lovely apartment but not sure about that strange word salad at the start !
whole lotta words to say "its an apartment on the 11th floor"
💝💗💞❤️🔥💖
This video is a warm reminder of how the 0.1% live a much better life than me.
Looks alright for an apartment, but weak compared to the other stuff on here
You can’t live in a view. This space looks uncomfortable. Looks awful.
1rst😊
Imagine the NYE views.
Short answer to the question, no sorry.
Penthouse? 😂
