Some really good research ahs been done on the ISS, and on Mir before that, and on various unmanned research satellites, using microgravity as an tool to study various microbes - after all, lower gravity is one thing we can't create (for any lengthy time, anyway) without going into orbit. IIRC this has contributed to better treatments for salmonella etc etc. But... this does kinds feel like the start to a sci-fi horror plotline, doesn't it?
china announced a break through though when they said they gonna send zebrafish which is small to spacestation and if they can survive and reproduce alot then china will have in mars and moon; fish for diner, and fish give the needed protein and animal vitamins like b12 and d... i have that diet too lol as I eat fish everyday and train with 17.5 kg dumbbells in 4 weeks will go to 20 kg dubells lifting till I reach 20 times lifting then go to 22.5 kg I think lol.. but ISS failed to test this thus making mission to mars and moon difficult...
