Agreed. I honestly don't see what's wrong with having their music aired on radio? I think it's the best way to get so much recognition from folks & gain more fans doing so. Yet people have the nerve to say that Mushroomhead are "Sell-Outs". Mushroomhead are not selling-out, they want to spread their sheer beauty & greatness of their amazing music as possible. That's what it's all about, sharing the masterpieces that they've created to the world where every human being can truly appreciate it's glory. If that's what these people considers it as "Selling-Out", then so be it.
The problem isn't that's its radio friendly. As people have mentioned Sun Doesn't Rise, Simple Survival and even Solitaire Unraveling are radio friendly. The problem is that's this song feels far more bland.
Heads up on the new vocalists ( Steve Rauckhorst) mask, it's designed from The Bridge Gaurdian statue thats right outside downtown Cleveland. Pretty damn brilliant
I love this song. Its not really super heavy, but it's very good. I liked the new masks. Easy to get into. But at the same time, I was hoping it would be heavier.
You guys have to understand that mushroomhead put this video out to show Steve’s singing ability and to introducing the new sound the band has. Every album mushroomhead has done Has radio hit songs like this. A wonderful life has 17 songs so you know there will be heavier then this. If anything, having J Mann kind of float in this song with his vocal part allowing for Steve to really shine is a nice change up & for a pretty mellow song, I do imagine that J will have much heavier & more prominent vocal sections throughout the album. It's also nice to note that Jeffrey actually chose Steve to be next & wanted him to pick up where he left off & in my opinion anyway, he's done a good job so far with this song. I personally really enjoy how catchy & groovy it is. I can see some people assuming that Steve's copying him in a sense but he's still got his own flavor to sprinkle into Mushroomhead's sound & I think he blends in rather well. 😊👍
I think the new vocalist has just a bit of crack in his voice to mimic Hatrix when it needs to be there. He is a much more complete vocalist all together though IMO and I think the work shows it. That being said, I know Hatrix and Reavis (my favorite) were put out on bad terms. I still listen though......
Kry Kry Stott Jeff sounded more like Ian Astbury more than he did Mike. Steve sounds more like Mike more than Jeff ever did. With the new album I'm not gonna be surprised if people that aren't fans are going to think that Mike is doing vocals for MRH.
