My first job was in a small hotel with owners like this... they fought for every cent, degrading their staff for even the slightest "loss" (like giving a few extra teabags to a guest), yet they always had the newest phones, luxury cars and even wrote books about "how to be successful in business" and "how to hire the dream team" when they had a constant staff turnover 🙈 "They don't have to work here" was their mindset as well lol. I left after a year, so I honestly don't understand why these ppl stay, I really hope they left soon after the episode too and found something better 🥺
Idk how can he, as an antique fanatic, leave the sewage smell for months. Its not gonna go away, its gonna make the furniture smell. Its not easy to wash foam chairs and bedding. Its not just that the room is out of service, its being damaged
Its not super easy, but its very much possible. Any physical dirt can be washed away and rest can be cleaned with ozone device, but again equipment to do that costs around 1.5k€ so it would be easier to fix the damn drainage system.
@@Hellsong89 deep cleaning something with a fabric surface will usually damage the fabric, its much cheaper and easier to tear all the soft stuff out and redo it, and thats how soft furniture is usually restored. You can keep the springs, and sometimes you can keep part of the fabric from an undamaged area if you find a perfect match for the inevitably damaged area. But thats pretty much it (im no expert tho and it seems you are, can you give me some more info like a link to your resources? Im looking to restore a couch but i already failed a pair of chairs once when i hired a guy to clean them, he but didnt dry them properly and they got mouldy. But i really like old school recliners and sofas they look much more inviting than the super minimalist ones)
