      Agreed bro. I took these off after a day 😂 One of the worst aftermarket parts I’ve ever installed. I don’t recommend them to anyone.

    How does the coil overs ride? It’s smooth? Does it feel the same as stock ride? What’s the pros n cons cause I’m trynna get them n they are a great price for me

    • @Fahrenheit_Motorsports
      @Fahrenheit_Motorsports  4 года назад +2

      They are definitely stiffer then OEM for sure. I think if you want something closer to stock feel you should save and get BC’s. I ended up selling these coilovers because they didn’t ride as I expected. I definitely could have lived with the ride but I have a 7 month old daughter and she was bouncing around on those coilovers 😂

      @@Fahrenheit_Motorsports so these are bouncy? My buddy told me to get these for my 14 civic

    • @Fahrenheit_Motorsports
      @Fahrenheit_Motorsports  3 года назад

      @@geminikitty10 yeah I found them to be stiff. They will definitely get the car really low but I’d look for something that has damper settings like the Rev 9? Setup on eBay. (Green Ones)
      Back in the day I had some tanabe coil overs on my 240sx and those were drift spec stuff boi’s. That’s what these felt like. But to be fair, if I drove on them longer they might have softened up like my Megan Racing Springs did. You can’t beat the price but I’d start with something that can change the firm/softness settings out the box.

      Cause these were free! Lol
      If I was paying I’d do BC’s all day. I can probably do BC’s in the future but the vendor really wanted me to review these and give feedback.

    I know you said you didn’t need dampening on these coil overs but i was wondering how does dampening work on coil overs in general? Is it something you can adjust from a push of a button or..?

    • @Fahrenheit_Motorsports
      @Fahrenheit_Motorsports  4 года назад

      So with this setup you can adjust the smallest amount of dampening by adjusting the preload but that’s only goes so far.
      The top brands and even top of the line truharts have a knob at the top of the strut, similar to a volume knob. You can adjust the dampening from 1-25 (in most cases) by clicking the knob. On the street you could either make it pillow soft or stiff so the car feels planted but you’ll really notice the benefits on a track.

    • @mariusuploader
      @mariusuploader 4 года назад

      Fahrenheit Motorsports but you would have to do the mechanically right? Like there isn’t any coil overs that you can just dampen the suspension from the push of a button like how most cars can do when you hit the sports button right?

    • @Fahrenheit_Motorsports
      @Fahrenheit_Motorsports  4 года назад

      Not that I know of. It wouldn’t be cheap either. But if you decided to get a nice set of coilovers you’d have access to the knob very easily by popping the hood. It’s a 30 second process.

    • @mariusuploader
      @mariusuploader 4 года назад

      Fahrenheit Motorsports yeah i gotcha, thank you very much! Your channel and other Accord channels really has helped me understand a lot of things mechanically as i don’t have a background in cars or have worked on cars at all in my life so all of your videos has helped out a lot for me. Keep up the good work, I’m looking forward to more of your videos!
