When Tammy apologised for shaking it and being silly in the elevator, that was the FIRST time I ever heard her say sorry and appear normal. She never normally seems embarrassed and socially aware.

I really don't think that going to this high tea place was neither Tammy, Amy, or their mom's idea. It seems like it was the producer's idea and they just talked them into it saying the show will cover the costs if any family member goes in. They needed something to film for this program and following this group into a Denny's restaurant wouldn't be as interesting. Am I wrong?
I bet high tea is cool though
im sure 90% of what we're watching is the show/producer's idea. Their lifestyle before this show seemed to just be staying at home (as they said they feel uncomfortable in the outside/public setting)

The producers purposely picked a place and an event that would be most outside the whole family's comfort zone, so that the episode would be as awkward as possible. Mission accomplished.

The more I have watched their mother the more I see where Tammy’s stubbornness and attitude comes from. Thankfully Amy did not inherit those traits for her mother.

when she said are british people not diabetic , as a british thing the major difference is portions and sugar usage, we have way smaller portions and a lot less sugar than americans do in their food so we can eat a lot more without gaining weight
We noticed that in Europe we didn't see any obese people but as soon as we were back at JFK airport in NYC we saw them again (and we assumed they were Americans) did not see 1 in Europe
England does still have high rates of obesity were the second most obese in Europe but in 48 place out of 140 countries and America is 18 so we’re not perfect but still better then America

Yes, they make it look like it's all spontaneous but when they film food shows the other patrons/diners in the establishments are all chosen ahead of time to be there. It's not like the crew just walk into a random restaurant and start filming.

@@MemesAndvids Tammy lost 200 lbs in rehab during the show's break and she's recently been approved for weight loss surgery, which we'll be seeing in the upcoming season. My guess is....she's gonna do far better with it than Amy did. Amy only lost 100 with the surgery and then stalled out when her body became adjusted to the sleeve. Amy never truly made any healthy changes to her diet so when the surgery itself did all it can do and it was time for HER to put in the work....she didn't. Amy's weight loss is done. Tammy's going to do way better. Guarantee it.

I Believe in Tammy I know she has Dealt with a lot of Humiliation and not only that, imagine how hard it must feel to even Wake up by the day to have to face the fact that the mistake of overeating became so obvious and part of herself. With perseverance I know Tammy will Make it. I See it happening. I was 93.5kg I am now 74kg. Love Heals All Wounds.
It was Mother’s Day, and this poor etiquette lady, whom I am sure has a family of her she’d like to be with; has to spent with these insulting, disrespectful and disgusting trash bags.
What lady just lets a burp out loud and apologizes and thinks that is okay? I understand sometimes it happens before you can react, but compose yourself and act accordingly.
Their language in a classy place like that is humiliating to watch, as people from other countries; they know very little about USA, see these tacky, worthless trashy people; and we’re judged as a whole in their failures, and terrible behavior.

How does that wheelchair not just crumble?! At some point there won't be anything that will support her anymore, the wheelchair will break, and she will be FORCED to take steps. Ohh dare I say it. You don't get like that from being motivated. She will have to stop being lazy. Every show is about her being taken out and eating.
Would have been better off serving deep fried cheetos and reeces pieces taco with triple serving of spray can cheese and a drink of gatorade.
