  • An Indie Anime Mecha game with enough Ace Combat references to fill a mobius strip. Fun, fast action in need of a bigger budget.

Playing this game for the first time was... Interesting given how often two of my favorite things kept getting blended together and how I could call a plot point but the last two missions were an absolute treat.

Wipeout, Ace Combat. Never thought I see another person playing and enjoying both

Another great review of a flying game I didn't know about. I see you're into flying combat right now, I would love if you took a look at some classic air combat games from the PS1! Keep em coming!

Aw thanks buddy! Yeah, I've wanted to cover Ace Combat for a while, especially since 3 got a great translation recently. Your interviews have been amazing, btw! You deserve WAY more attention for those!

4:16 Listen to Macross music while playing on PC, it makes it all the more manageable because you're getting into the zone.

5:31 I'd say the Children of Fallen Nations are the actual antagonists given that the UCN got tricked into this...

Speaking of SSZ it has Paul Ruskay of Homeworld fame for the soundtrack and you can really tell with some tracks. I.E Thule Research Station just sounds like a track that didn't quite make it into Homeworld.

It looks good no doubt, and the reviews on steam is very positive as well. But $8.99? It just sounds too good to be true, and reeks a "catch".

Well, there's no multiplayer so maybe that's figured into the price?

Hiya, do you have a discord server so we can all talk about games and what not?
